I’ll always remember that infamous moment when Magic said that Lonzo’s jersey will hang in the rafters💀

I'll always remember that moment when Magic took responsibility for losing to the Celtics in 7 games and took that as an opportunity to get even better. Even after being a two-time champion at that point, realizing that he still needed to improve. Magic Johnson, first ballot HOF'er.

I remember those years and when Julius became a double double machine. His game was still primarily in the paint at that point but it was clear if he developed a jumpshot he was going to be dangerous. I'm not sure he would've gotten there had he remained with the Lakers, though, so I was thrilled to see he not only developed a jumpshot but became a 3 point shooter to boot. Really happy for him, and hope the Knicks can fully breakthough next season.

Yessir. This is the exact reason why I wanted the Knicks to get him badly, then when they signed him, I couldn’t believe it. He definitely became a well rounded player

@@mrmartywaring Absolutely. Think that was true for a lot of the young players on the roster at the time, including all the ones people lament the Lakers eventually traded away for AD like Brandon Ingram. I was sorry they didn't pick Julius back up at the time, but ultimately they did him a favor and so now I can't be mad at it.

And people think MJ was the only asshole legend from that era, literally everyone, Bird, Magic, Zeke, etc were extremely hard on their team to push them to heights like multiple chips.
