I love this sermon. Once we, Christians, are alive, there will be a demand for increasing faith, to prepare us not just for glory to be experienced here on earth but more importantly for the Glory to be experienced in heaven. Dear Lord, help us to stand firm on Your Truth and Not waver during the testing of our faith. You are our Strength, Lord Jesus. Help us to understand God's larger purpose so we can endure to the very end: knowing that for some of us the end is physical death. Help us to be faithful even in death. Help us Lord to keep our eyes and our hearts fixed on things above. Silence the spirit of fear in our lives, O God. In Jesus name. Amen

Just started the video and I am eager to hear what he says after reading the title. I'm 62 and have often wondered When will this stop? I get past one thing and BAM! Here comes another and it's bigger! Have had a thousand thoughts, but this I know, we are called to battle and take strongholds in Jesus Name, doing His Work. You know, the sword in a sheath isn't its glory, the sword in battle is it's glory. Such is the Word, it's the Power of God, a sword and what is it for? Keeping it in your pocket is useless, drawing it out in battles, in needs, in tests, to proclaim and declare the Word of God brings glory to God and all into submission. And we know we are called to glorify God, to subdue all things in Christ Jesus to Jesus, the Bible says. We read of Abraham and Job and Daniel and David, why? Because the things went through, they believed, they trusted, they all glorified God in their sufferings and trials and tests, and we honor them, all who were present glorified God, and God will forever honor them. But this I have grown to know, not believe in my head but believe in my heart: My God is Faithful! He has overcome all and all us subjected to Him by the Life and Death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. At His Name Angels jump and demons flee! I don't look to retire, so to speak, and coast into Heaven, not anymore. I expect a life filled with more and more opportunities to serve and glorify God, declaring His Word, all the while I become less and less, crucified with Jesus - my Savior and Lord.

I've constructed imagery in my poetry of heaven, from reading the Bible. It's one of my favorite things to do. I wrote an entire book called the "City of God" which went over the best and most technologically advanced men could create, and then went into a description of Heaven, based on imagery I see in the Bible. It's going to be better than you can possibly imagine. Another key piece of the puzzle was found in this Sermon, which was providential timing.
