Today I have been witness to the suffering of my fellow countrymen who live in the inner city. I am shocked and saddened by their predicament . I am a retired social worker who worked on the front line in the inner city so I am not easily shocked but things have deteriorated much further than I thought.

You can feel the uneasiness, the desperation and apathy as well as the emotional anger all around. It is rare that you find someone who is pleasant, smiling , patient or kind. I feels like everyone is on edge waiting for something to trigger them. It’s an awful feeling that is so heavy and oppressive you can’t wait to remove yourself from it. It’s so sad and its effect on your own energy is draining. We seem to have to weave and bob around it in order to maintain any balance. It’s difficult.

Hi Clare glad your feeling better , my 75 this month often get lump in my throat they the tears roll for no apparent reason , Got rid of the television when all this started never listen to the radio never look at a newspaper , and refused the darts and masks , and well and healthy try once a week to go to Avebury stone circle always good after a few hours there , also a weekly walk round Christchurch meadow in the city of Oxford ,its quiet there you can here the birds see squirrels it just feels good , i also get to talk to speak to complete strangers which is nice as i live on my own , sending yo lots of love and hugs ❤❤❤

Absolutely spot on. I'm feeling it too. I feel the tower starting to collapse. Personally going through a LOT right now. Just TO MUCH STRESS. And I'm finally just saying no this all stops now, im no longer a dumping ground for anyone. I matter just as much as anyone else and I do not deserve this disrespect. Not only that but so much loss, its huge! so a lot of grief currently also ( actual death and loss of relationships) And even though not everyone may be experiencing a physical loss....I think everyone is feeling it regardless and I think that's what you mean too. I'm just working towards my own happiness right now because I deserve it I have never experienced true happiness in this lifetime. And if that means people fall off my tower then so be it. I totally agree with you about the chaos and destruction...I've given up on MSM completely, no TV no Newspapers, no radio....I'm hibernating, and choosing just a small number of YT channels including yours. I've rediscovered reading, music and things I loved from simpler times, Shakespeare amongst others, and creativity. I see friends a couple of times a week and just get on with my work, which I do from home. I try to be friendly and chat to strangers when possible, just to connect like we always used to. It’s funny you should say that about the news. I’ve stopped watching because I recognised it was making me feel bad. I’m not following the election lead up at all, just voting with my gut and from the heart. I would obsessively watch the news but my intuition is telling me to back away from all the noise.
