I have enjoyed this song from 1979 until today. In June 1979 I turned 18. The last 3,5 minutes is my favorite part. Wonderworld was the first album from Uriah Heep that I started to listen to. My first bought LP was Firefly.

music like this is the only thing that helps me keep my sanity in this world. I say this because i am only 16 and i do know what this world is like, its rigid, its rough, its dangerous. music is one of the only things that keep me going day and night. rock on guys.

My son was born on a freezing cold July morning ( 9th at 9am) in Toowoomba Queensland 🇦🇺 I always think of this song and my sons birth by caesarean section that morning in 2014. ..despite it mentioning warmth and summer of the Northern Hemisphere.

Went to see Uriah Heep play at my county fair. When it first started there may have been only a hundred people. By the end there was easily 500 watching and im sure 75% of those watching never heard of uriah heep in their life. Amazing how great music brings us all together.

Yes, that was Manfred Mann, of all people. To also answer vjwalcek's question below, the year that song was recorded was 1971. It was on the 'Look at Yourself' album, and they played it a lot on tour throughout 1972. I was privileged to see Uriah Heep three times. The only group I liked as much in 'live' performance was Pink Floyd. Uriah Heep from 1970 to 1976 - when David Byron was vocalist - was arguably the best rock band in the world. We won't see their like again soon, unfortunately.

I'm 14, and I think that all that tasteless music out these days is just terrible, this is real music, this is music that took emotion, that the artist put their heart into.
