This song is a little different for me because it took a long time to write, with several segments forming individually over several months and then combining them. This is in DADF#AD, which is one of the first altered tunings that I ever experimented with. As it turns out, all the songs that I've written in this tuning are more upbeat and happy. (Listen to Edamame or Lizard Lounging on a Leaf and see if you agree). This is another track where the music came first and left me with trying to figure out a good name. I really couldn't think of anything clever, and I finished it in July...You get the picture. The video, however, was more fun. I wanted to use a few of the exciting murals that are scattered all over Saint Petersburg as colorful and interesting backdrops to make a happy video. I even got to go to a studio with an 18 x 45 foot LED video wall and hang from the ceiling! This was definitely fun and lighthearted. I hope you like it!!!
