Lmao at people that complains about people complaining. It's the magazine's 50th anniversary and they try to put the less characters and less series as possible. Yeah sure, put a bunch of naruto, one piece, dragonball, bleach or whatever because they're more popular but don't forget the other series, even the smaller ones. Put Gintama, Medaka box, toriko, One Punch Man, Food Wars, Tokyo Ghoul, D.Gray Man, Yugioh, Mob Psycho 100, Beelzebub, Assassination Classroom, Beelzebub, Saiki, Haikyuu, sket dance, to love ru, nisekoi, buso renkin, hitman reborn, Nube, Neuro, Momotaro, Dr.slump, slam dunk, eyeshield 21, Ryotsu, Kinnikuman, prince of tennis, rokudenashi blues, captain tsubasa... and where are characters like All Might and Kaiba? I haven't seen half of these and I hate some of them but why aren't they here? I like how some people are like "oh anime fans are so toxic they are so hateful and never happy". Yeah you know what? Kaneki is one of the edgiest and shittiest character I know. I also hate how all those dumb emos have Kaneki avatars online and they say edgy shit like they want to be a ghoul too. But you know what? Kaneki should be in this game (along with one or two other TG characters) because the game isn't about me, it's about everyone. All those dumb emos deserve to have their Kaneki in this game because why the fuck not? What I loved from the previous Jump Stars games is how I don't know who most the people are but I have fun regardless and I discover new anime to watch and shit. Guess we're just getting shovels of the big three down our throats because this is a cashgrab with only mainstream anime. Nintendo lets me play as the goddamn Duck Hunt dog and a piranha plant but I can't even trust a Shonen jump game to pay respect to its long 50 years of history? Get out of here man, this is ridiculous. Of course I can just not buy it but this is why we can't have nice things.

This roster is horrible. All main stream characters that we already played with. Naruto and dbz just came out with their own games not long ago. Why the hell would I want to play with cell or piccolo AGAIN? Why would I want to play with boruto or kakashi AGAIN? Smh J stars has the superior roster.

I’m so disappointed especially since previous games such as jump ultimate stars had 56 characters in total. This is the 50th anniversary yet they can’t give us 50 characters. I can name so many characters that should be in the game but their not. Where is tsuna, toriko, gintoki, medaka box, Zatch bell, kinnikuman, black cat, busou renkin, Bobobo, d-grayman, beelzebub, koro Sensei, Nura rise of the yokai clan and so much more? Why should I have to pay for characters as dlc that where in previous games?😩😡Where the hell is the variety??? The big 3 literally make up half the roster.

Like where’s Hitman Reborn, WingMan, Taruruuto-Kun, To Love-ru, Rosario Vampire, Black Cat, World Trigger, Gintama, etc.? Wasn’t this supposed to be anniversary game? Because this game feels more like Battle Stadium D.O.N. 2 with some Jump characters and that’s about it. Can’t believe that Jump Ultimate Stars a game that came half a decade ago had not only 50+ series being represented but it also had 60+ playable characters as well and now Jump Force comes 5 days ago and only has 40 playable characters from only 15 series most of them being from mainstream series that already has their own fighting game going on! Shouldn’t it be the other way around? Heck J-Stars had more series representations than Jump Force with 32! I swear the developers were literally being greedy this time around and didn’t care about the fans at all!! This game is such an excuse of a anniversary game and a insult to Shonen Jump for ignoring most of the series that they published.

You dont even have to play the game to see the issues of the game feom just trailers and gameplay footage. All they knew was they wanted those fighters. They forgot to focus on the story part and awkward controls and bad visuals. Overall it looks like budget cuts and unmotivated developers.

Pros to jump force: yugioh, jojo, dai, city hunter. Cons: missing many staples, lacking aot of female cast and most of the villains are wack, wheres my meruem? My katakuri? I don't want black beards unfinished crusty ass! Where the bobobo!? I can understand the big three getting like 6 but make the 6 count and at least give other series 4 characters that matter too.

This game was played too safe jotaro and dio almost didn't make it. Deku too. Characters were picked based on the time and popularity at the moment. I feel like this game was gonna be rushed from the start

J Stars Ultimate still is the best game from the series

Game should have at least had all the playable characters from j-stars also be playable here on launch on top of what we got. That would be more than a realistic expectation given the importance of this game and the resources and feedback the company has gotten in the past. Honestly when fighting games remove characters that were playable in the past and would be easy to implement, that is one of my biggest piss offs in a sequel. Feels like back peddling to remove them from the game. Also I personally wanted Gio Gio, Ajimu and Dark Schneider. Disappointed that not one of them made it in.

As soon as I saw Gintoki and Medaka were not on the full roster my hype for this game droped to zero. To be honest, all they had to do was add 4 characters per franchise. Main, rival, a love interest and iconic villain. Like using Gintama and Medaka Box as example, Gintoki, Takasugi, Tsuki and Utsuro; Medaka, Zenkichi, Kumagawa and Anshin. Using the new kids as example, Boku no Hero and Black Clover, Deku, Bakugo, Uraraka, Shigaraki, Asta, Yuno, Noelle and Licht. Boom, good roster and increase the female characters ratio. And you just modify it a bit for like Dragon Ball, Goku, Vegeta, Broly and Gohan, but it still works for One Piece like Luffy, Teach, Hancock and Akainu. Then just add the rest of every franchise as DLC.
