Great video. If you come to Victoria Australia this summer December till February I’m sure something can be arranged a long drive around the Great Ocean Road on a Toyota Yaris highly economical. Although it’s more expensive locals here can be extremely helpful with long drives.

Beach, sunshine, blue sky, beauties, do you know how envious I am? Today it was so cold that I caught a cold and started to have a runny nose! I wish you knew how happy I was to watch this video! The aerial shots are so mesmerizing, I can’t wait to crawl into the screen to find you! I almost forgot to mention the food there, I want to eat your curry chicken, oh my god, my mouth is watering! You should really check out Sosua Beach on the North coast -- my favorite Dominican beach! It has a great local vide. If you go there, definitely eat at Piergiorgio Palace Hotel. They have amazing food and an incredible balcony dining experience on cliff edges over the sea. Then check out the kite surfing capital of the world, Cabarete. Also, Samana is a great beach area to see. Enjoy!!

Hello from Canada 🇨🇦 We vacation in the Caribbean and Mexico and love the DR. The one resort at Macao opened three years ago and is Dreams Macao Beach. The first all inclusive resort to open in that area. 🏖️🏝️😎

Beaches are public places in the Dominican Republic. If you use the resorts's services, their chairs, or order drink and food, you will have to pay ahead for the day.

I loved it in Punta Cana, the beach was my happy place. We also visited a local primary school and took some school supplies for the kids as they don’t have a lot. Enjoy your stay there, you both deserve some warm, sunny beach time. 🌴☀️🌊🐚⛱️💕🇨🇦

Punta Cana is indeed very artificial, it didn’t even exist until the 1970s. So not the best place to experience Dominican culture for that reason and also because it’s mostly inhabited by Haitians and other nationalities. Not many Dominicans over there. As for the surfing, the best beaches for that are in the North Coast, Cabarete to be more specific. You guys should explore the mountains of DR also like Jarabacoa, Constanza, and Sajoma, I recommend the cities of Santiago, La Vega, and Puerto Plata. If you can visit the Southwest also, go to Dunas de Baní, Los Patos, and Bahía de Las Águilas. And the city of Santo Domingo (the modern downtown area that we call polígono central) which not many foreigners show. Good video as always and enjoy my country 👍🏼

Dec Jan and Feb are when most of us Canadian's hit the Carribean. Not sure if you guys have been to Playa Del Carmen yet, but 5th Ave is a 2 mile busy ass strip that is a block up fropm the ocean, it's with bars, restaurants, live music and more, always lots going on. That,s one of my favorite places.Great video's. Thx.

Hi you got to visit the 27 charcos de damajagua in the north. Its epic. In punta cana do the scape park to see the cenotes or the indigenous eyes in Punta Cana Resort

Beautiful drone shots! The food and drinks at Macao beach are very good! Visit Bavaro Adventure Park. They have buggies, zip line, horseback riding, lazy river, wave pool, etc.

So much there like the teleférico, Parque Central, amber museum, a walk on the malecón...and more in your wheelhouse there are AMAZING falls (Damajagua) and rivers, plus a small fishing town called Maimon where you can get the best fish dishes! ❤

Spend a or of time in DR. They’ve perfected the art of the scam. They are nice people you just have to know the rules. Chris all beaches in DR are public. 60 meters from shore line (law) is for public access and use even in front of resorts. Security guards may try to get you to move but since Carol speaks Spanish she can remind them of the law, you need to be firm but polite with them.

16:22 That happened to me flying from New York to Bangkok. I missed the connection in Beijing which was totally the airlines fault and it took me 5 hours to get a visa to enter China, and then they tried to send me an hour away from the airport to a hotel that I would have only stayed in for about 6 hours but I was like damn that because I booked my trip with my AMEX Platinum which gives you trip delay insurance I just booked a room at the Hilton I could see from the shuttle area🤣. Missing a flight is a a nightmare and it’s really bad when you’re stuck in a country that has a 💩 ton of bureaucracy and you need a visa to enter.

Very nice video. You definitely promote beach visits well! Sorry about the bad LATAM flight. Very unusual, but I guess it was better when it was just LAN (Chilean National Airline). They could have at least let you sleep a full night in Miraflores, instead of giving you a 2 am flight. Crazy. I thought you had flown COPA, but was shocked it was LATAM.

hola from the other side of the Atlantic Ocean (Gran Canaria), where the waves for surfers are twice as high ;-) you should check out the Canary Islands one day...there's so many diverse landscapes. 👍Anyway, enjoy your stay in the DR- are you going to meet up with the Delightfuls, by any chance? If not I can recommend going on another cruise...I remember how much you enjoyed doing that earlier this year! (P&O are doing some amazing deals from St Lucia to Barbados !)

When you have the time to go San Juan de la Maguana let me know and I show you that town. I (Dutch) live here for 5 years now and 4 years I want to go back to the Netherlands. When you see this town, you never want to go to this country again.
