Also, you're right, the rubbish really ruined the beach, luckily it's just some bad behavior of some people, Phuket still has its attractions! October and November good weather in Phuket but rain sometimes not too hot. And March and April better go Island this time no rain but super hot Thank you for reviewing thailand. Hope you and your family visiting again

Glad you got to see our home, Phuket. Wish I could have given you some advice beforehand. So much to see and do here, but everyone seems to go the "wrong" spots. 😜😉 Glad they do, as it keeps the best spots quiet and uncrowded. I think I know where you'd love. Just don't make a video and bring the crowds. 😜😉

Glad you like Rawai. It is my favorite town in Phuket. I was in Phuket in Dec 2022 for 3 weeks. I will be in Rawai for 4 weeks in April.

Hey Chris and Carol, how are you? This is Rich. We haven’t met yet but I have been watching for sometime now. I started with your all famous thumbnail. Yes the one in the Philippines. The first time you were there. I’m current now, and slowly trying to get caught up from the beginning. You’re recent episodes of the Philippines have been amazing! Along with of course everything else that you guys have done! (Iceland was outstanding!) I have really enjoyed your travels immensely. I also have a big interest in Thailand. It’s always been on my Phuket list! PS I follow 35 KZfaq channels and you guys are my favorite channel! So well done!

I’m guessing this is Chris I’m talking with. Yes the landscapes you have shown has been unbelievable. I try to imagine myself there when I watch your Vlogs. I know it’s so much more amazing to be there. Watch out for those falling coconuts. The trash on the beach all looked like floating type trash. That was probably cleaned up from the beach. You guys need to go back and get that dress for Carol! 😂

The golden Buddha’s appeared so lifelike. It’s a shame to see so much trash but I also didn’t see many trash containers either for it to be such a popular destination.

Im glad i was there during the covid time. As all the beaches was empty and truly enjoyed it without the hordes of tourist. Phuket is a tourist trap, inflated high prices for everything and a tourist rip off hot spot in Thailand.

Freedom beach in one of the best beach in phuket mainland! U have bad timing its cloudy,not that sunny and crowded thats y cant see the clarity of the water! U have to good the islands of phuket they are all crystal blue water and white sand!

Freedom beach is my favorite beach in Phuket out of the ones I've visited. It usually has a nice amount of people on it around the holidays. Usually a lot of Russians for some reason. Best way to get there is from Patong take a motor bike or cab to Avista hideaway it's a hotel pass Avista is a road leading up to a trail to enter Freedom. At times there are Thai ripping people off and charging them to get on the beach. They aren't suppose to be there doing this.

@@swet402 not sure what that has to do with anything but I agree with most of what you said. You shouldnt box all people together. Otherwise we can say some pretty nasty things about your actions in Ukraine. You think God approves how your handling that particular situation? God looks at us all as equal why do you feel your better. And if you feel so strongly about being better than the west you should tell that to all the women that have come here from Russia to have American children. Russians have made that a thing but you never hear of Americans trying to have children is Russia to become Russians. But again what does any of this have to do with the video I commented on? Seems to me the Russian like starting trouble in Thailand, in Ukraine, in comment sections wherever they go since we are on the subject.

Thank you for the honest guide it really helps paint a picture that is not what you see on Instagram. These places could easily be presented as super beautiful but you rightly don't shy away from showing us the fly tipping of trash and open rubbish laden sewers running down onto beaches. Humans, ignorance , greed, poverty and plastics all factors in destroying the beauty of this planet.

i agree with your reply that you have so much to do in thailand more than nature especially their nightlife.philippines cater for nature lover.philippines is second to thailand in southest asia when it comes to international tourist per capita.international tourist prefer to stay longer in philippines than any southest asian country based on international tourist receipt.they capitalized on that strategy to preserve the tourist spot from severe damage brought about by over tourism.

Mainland phuket doesnt have powdery white sand crystal blue water but phuket has a lot thing to do way develop than boracay and palawan! If u want to see crystal blue water white sand there's a lot near mainland phuket still part of this island but quiet far! Check this out ,CORAL ISLAND PHUKET and many more. And phuket has 9 million tourist every year and whole philippines has 8 millon tourist..
