Hooking up to my truck battery worked. Left it on for a few minutes, maybe 5. Didn't get real hot, didn't smell, didn't think it worked until I plugged it into the traxxas charger!!! Good shit!!!

I just now tried this on my Traxxas 3s 5000 mah. Left it plugged in. Voltage dropped to 3.4 volts, would not charge. Put it on a Black and Decker auto smart battery charger at 4 amps (lowest setting) for one minute, plugged into Traxxas battery charger and started charging!!! Thank you, it works.

Bro you fixies my battery’s your the man did feel like it was cooking but other then that solid have to keep it on for atleast 5/8 min tho for it to have enough juice so it can be on a steady charge but I did have the 6700 one not the 5000 like you have so that’s why I needed to have it on there for longer but thanks your the best bro

I had one that wouldn’t charge, I just jumped it from a dewalt battery for like 2 seconds then it would charge.
