You know this is unreal don't you? Just a fantasy for girls to dream about hehe. This guy is like the perfect dreamed boy, he is handsome, intelligent, hard worker, cute, caring, tender, sweet, protective, supportive, and also very rich... In real life a guy so "perfect", in no way would be for so long behind and so much into a girl who is quite distant with him. This type of guy in real life has a good self steem and expects the girl to show him equal interest and affection. Do you imagine actor Junho constantly behind a girl who is distant and meh with him most of the time? Hard to believe 😂😂

Because he said in the messages that he’d probably have “a few minutes to spare” and that they could “meet for a moment after work.” He gave the impression that he was very busy and doing her a favor lol. As for what was said in person, she also actually used the same words as “meet for a moment” even though the subs translated it differently.

If everyone in the drama was professional, we won't get a drama like this.... It's a treat for us to enjoy when we are already living in a harsh reality.... So it's no big deal... Atleast we will be happy seeing the love story of the characters in drama....

This series is totally unreal, it's always him behind her in the entire series, he seems crazy in love with her, while she is distant and meh about him most of the time. In real life, a guy so handsome, sweet, protective, supportive, caring, tender, intelligent, and yes, also rich, wouldnt be for so long behind a distant girl, that type of guy has a really good self steem in real life, and would expect equal treatment and feelings from the girl. Just a fantasy... In fact, hard to believe the actor Junho would be for so long behind and so much into a girl who doesn't reciprocate him

First off, you have two physically attractive people: a beautiful woman and an utterly handsome man, in short, Yoona and Junho are “eye candy.” He looks positively dashing and debonair in three piece suits in stark contrast to his father who looks like he bought his clothes from Walmart. Gu Won lands (via on hang glider with the King logo that would be visible from a King Air jet 33,000 miles above Seoul) in the real world on top of the wrong building in downtown Seoul; there’s the tip off that he has led a rather isolated and protected existence. He also comes into “King Land” operating from an emotional deficit surrounding the inexplicable disappearance of his mother when he’s barely out of short pants. He feels slighted and ignored within the family, while his half-sister, let’s face it, is hell-bent on wresting control of the conglomerate from her father who she looks upon with contempt. Once she renders her father powerless, she’ll pounce on Gu Wan. So we have the familiar trope of the poor little rich boy not quite sure if he really wants to be a chaboel. Here we have a misanthrope who can’t break a smile even if you offered him majority shares in Jinro, Korea’s largest distiller of soju. Enter Sa Rang (screen writers hit you over the head with her name, “Love.”) She’s perky, plucky, and wide-eyed. Her belief in herself is unshakable -- witness her determination to succeed in a make or break interview for her dream job hobbling in on a shoe whose heel she snapped on the way in and despite the inexplicable request that she play piano without an instrument in sight. Life is a challenge for her as well since she, too, has suffered the loss of her mother due to tragic circumstances. She’s also a tad shell-shocked because she’s in a relationship with an infantile man who treats her shabbily, to put it kindly. I think she seems distant to you because she is suspicious of Gu Wan -- after all he comes from a world of privilege while she has struggled her whole life. So, he’s clueless, she’s resilient. He begins to realize that she’s a real prize; she’s suspicious of him, let’s say she can’t believe she’s fallen into a pile of manure and comes up smelling like roses. For me, the screen play had all the elements that made it satisfying. There’s an arc to the story as Sa Rang seriously evaluates if she wants to be serving guests in the posh surroundings at King Hotel before she hangs up her uniform the last time in year 130 of King Hotel’s illustrious history. As for Gu Wan, he not only wants to get the girl but also make sure his half sister doesn’t destroy the one-hundred-year old hotel which may create a domino effect and thereby render the King Group a failed enterprise. Sa Rang needs Gu Wan and Gu Wan needs Sa Rang to make sense of their individual lives as well as their lives together. You and I may not agree on the assessment of this love story, but it certainly has captured the imaginations of countless viewers. It has indisputably raised the profile of South Korea in the entertainment industry in Southeast Asia. I, for one, have been fascinated with and drawn to South Korean culture after knowing rather little about the country. I’m happy I discovered “King the Land” because it opened up a world to me that I had not fully known before. I enjoyed writing this response and I hope you enjoyed reading it. If you have to write such an extent essay to justify this unbalanced couple, you have a problem dear, a couple must flow, without looking for many reasons to justify behaviours. And you are basically saying that he has psychological issues due to the way he grow up, so you are admitting he accepts this unbalanced relationship just because he hasn't been loved properly in his life...he needs profesional help, not entering an unbalanced relationship

​​@@junhosmiles_1990 they wanted to paint a relationship where an independent and focused on her job woman, has a perfect boy madly in love with her in a healthy relationship, but they did it poorly, and just depicted a distant and cold woman, (she doesn't even miss him when they are separated, when he went for her to that hotel she didn't even hug him, and even doubted about staying there or come back with him), and a man with psychological issues, constantly pending on her and behind her, because he aceepts low profile love due to his issues. In real life he would go to a psychologist

And I hope you understand, that in real life, this actor surely doesn't have the psychological issues the character has, due to lack of affection, and he would never behave like this...I am sure he has a healthy self steem, something the character doesn't have... And no, Sa Rang doesn't need him, that's how they depicted her, another thing is that you make up in your mind she needs him to paint it more balanced, but nothing she does in the series indicates she needs him, just accepts him in her life because, you know, he is a perfect boy, and constantly behind her giving everything to her
