This is day 4 part 2 of our Maiden Barrington Tops trip series. In this video we have left Little Murray Campgrounds heading for Junction Pools. The trail is marked as 4wd only but in the dry high 2wd vehicle could get through. We have rain as we are driving through the clouds which give the trail a beautiful mystique feel while we explore. We get to Junction Pools and have a look around before we have to head off for our next destination.

Yes it sure is up there. We were the only people there, although it was on a Wednesday. I can't wait to go back.

It was beautiful down there Steve I'm looking forward to going back. I wouldn't camp there as the gates were closed and the only flat ground was down on the river side. A long way to carry everything

Yes mate it has a 2inch (40mm) lift.

Thanks mate I'm glad you like the vid. To be honest I can't remember as this was 2 years ago. I'd imaging I had them at 25psi

Haven't been there since 1982 in my little Suzuki LJ50. Have to go back one day. Did you get to the Big Hole? Good camping spot.

It's a beautiful spot thats for sure. No I'm pretty sure we didn't get to Big Hole. Where's that?

You have to continue along the Barrington trail past the Carey's Peak lookout and it's down near Black Swamp camp ground. Be careful it may be closed off to traffic now, I went there a long time ago so just check before going there. Nice spot to camp at.
