I've been enjoying getting lost in dubby sounds lately!
In this jam, I use Helocene's Non-Linear Memory Machine to add a little crackle and glitch to some chords from CIZZLE (which are going through Three Sisters and then getting reverbed and delayed by Mimeophon).
Bass comes from Akemie's Castle and the drum sounds from Squid Salmple and Akemie's Taiko.
Other FX are from Clouds, Data Bender and Erbe Verb.

You're like a mad professor of chill beats! My favorite sections are where you bring in the claps and take them out. It shapes the groove quite effectively. Wonderful!

Thank you so much for the lovely comment and always listening so carefully - I appreciate it so much! So glad to hear that about the claps. I'd wanted to use them to structure the beat, as you say, but wanted to use them sparingly. I like to have rhythms sort of implied at times :)

Very cool. Theres a really nice sparsity to this......very chill and mellow but super interesting and not stagnant. You always craft such awesome "dub scapes" I could listen to this all day. Great work and great sounds. 🍻👍

@yassokiiba for sure, modular is so nicely suited for that kind of concept. Soooooo many rabbit holes to explore 🫠 and a workflow that encourages evolving music. I'm happy to have connected with a like minded individual here on this crazy information highway. 🫠🍻

@@frederickaloysiuspalowaski149 Same here! You're one of the first people (maybe actually the first?) I met on here and you've always been such a source of inspiration to me. Very happy you stopped by my channel. Also so happy I got into modular. Like you say, the workflow is perfect for exploring and trying things out - going off-grid!

@@muratti1277 ah that's great to hear! yes, I think you're right. There's more in the lower frequencies - I think I was getting more interested in the textures (little pops, glitches, slight aliasing) I was getting from the Non-Linear Memory Machine
