In this video, we will be taking a deep dive into the June 2024 post World Championship Qualifiers banlist! Now, the meta this time around was kind of okay, but it was also kind of toxic as well since it was full of these random floodgates such as Summon Breaker, Heat Wave, Evilswarm Ophion, and also Sky Scourge Invicil. The meta was basically consisted of Agents, Borrel Link, and a little bit of Blue-Eyes White Dragon with Heat Wave techs. Due to all the excessive floodgates being spammed around, this made it very difficult for decks to essentially fight back against these floodgates and play the game going second. As such, you guys will be getting my live, unbiased, blind reaction on this June 2024 banlist!
I also did very well in this World Championships, finishing close to the top 500 mark with my Altergeists so if you would like to learn Altergeists at a top tier level, make sure to drop me a follow on Twitch T.V. and I'll teach you everything on the deck, including basic (and advanced) combos, micro and macro decision making, and good decklists. Furthermore, I also think Konami nailed this banlist because, without spoiling anything, they hit all the correct cards. All the problematic cards that had to be hit got hit and all the cards that needed to be freed to increase their power level got freed. They also nerfed the Agent skill (Tuning in the Sky), which just about wraps up all the important aspect of this video.
