The original singer escaped the hospital to record this song. Actually his voice was very smooth but in this song his voice is so rough and cracks because of his illness. he cries out in the song because he knew that we would die very soon. He died in the same year when he recorded this song, so next year his friends gathered the demo versions of his songs and released his sixth and the last album.Still numerous Korean artists show massive respect to him and try to commemorate his early death by singing his songs.

What I love about this show is how one song can be covered by different artists with completely different styles but still turn out perfect! I loved this song when Kim JinHo sang it and now Jung DongHa! simply amazing voices!

This song hit me really hard after I lost my father in 2016. I remember coming back from university feeling so lonely. And the way back to home was really long.

I've heard this song for 4 times on IS2. Lee HongKi, Kim Jinho, Jung DongHa and Huh Gak sang this beautiful song. Jung DongHa's version is very much alike the original among all four versions. As for me I like Kim Jinho's the best. But all of them are worthy.

As always. I don't think I've ever heard an artist who puts up as many performances that move me. Goosebumps and tears. I don't know where he pulls those emotions from but I hope it's not experience because no one can make me feel a sad song like him. And as others have said, I agree, the King of Immortal Songs.

I love his cries and the honesty of his voice.... made me cry. Sometimes a little roughness in the voice is all what we need to be convinced to stay by someone side.

I came here because Suga - BTS sang it in his variety show "RUN". This song is so meaningful and only got to know there was a sad story behind. Sad and heart wrenching to know. He is in heaven watching many artistes singing his song. This song is also reflecting how many died in this world now from the deadly virus where many of their loved ones lost them. I pray everyday to god for my family the best of health at all times and the world be more kinder, giving and more loving to each other.

Now 4 years later, Hwang Chi Yeul just did it 1/16/2021. He won the Kim Hyun Sik Memorial Special in Immortal Songs. The 3 best versions.

@김태형 🐻 on Masked Singer. when JK appeared on the show JDH was his opponent. Jungkook was amazing but then he was very young and was outclassed by such an experienced sunbae.
