He was absolutely amazing!! The amount of people that came to see him even with such a short notice is insane, and there was so many people even before the official announcement!! This was a HUGE and historic moment! Even locals on the streets stopped to see him and were amazed by his performance! 💜 I’m so proud of Jungkook, he looked so happy performing there today and its so beautiful to see

Can you believe ten of thouands of people gathered for a surprise event that officially announced just 30 minutes before the show? All started from an Army tweeted 5 hours before the show "Ey, why are people cleaning the Billboard?". Twitter went full on detective mode right away and without knowing whether it's true or not, they just made a bet and flooded Times Square. And they won, US ARMY were so lucky to witness a legendary performance in real time. I'm so proud to live in the same era of a legend in the making, JUNGKOOK, you are a MEGA GLOBAL POP STAR!!!

There were so many people outside! It's awesome hearing army singing along with him and seeing jungkook smile over it. 🥰 The dancers were having a great time too hahaa brian. 😂 Btw i LOVE the shirt josh!! 💜

I've heard someone saw they were cleaning that glass balcony fence...and they knew JK would be performing or showing up. ARMY are off the wall. We have 7th sense....the BTS sense!

What a super surprise performance and treat for the people at Times Square! It was such a stellar performance and choice of songs! Imagine the crowd and chaos if this was made known earlier! But it did look like nearly the whole city turned out anyway!

Jungkook is the 2nd artist ever to perform on Time Square’s TSX Stage after Post Malone performed last July. Mind you all those fans went to Times Square based on the billboard glass being cleaned without any official announcement or a single hint. His demand, his impact is insane. His vocals, his dancing, his stage presence is unparalleled. Btw X box, Calvin Klein, Hilton was the sponsor of this event. This was literally a historical night to remember for the MAIN POP BOY.

I so wish they had announced it! I definitely would have gone (only a 3 hour drive). He did such an amazing job! It's so effortless for him! He just continues to surprise me with each performance. Each one is better than the last!!

I watched this live on YT....and ever since, I've been rewatching it...I am on such high, I am not sure how I will sleep tonight. I cant even imagine how ARMY that were there are coping right now. I love them all. BTS give off such good energy...it legit pushes me forward and carries me on even when I have no will to move. Love them all...together and individually.

There were whispers that something would be happening in Times Square as early as the night before last, ARMYs on Twt were reporting seeing workers cleaning that stage and that billboard was running JK ads like 24/7. I think around 12 or 1pm yesterday was when everyone started being really sure, because they saw all the set up happening. I was actually discussing with some fellow ARMY exactly what you mentioned. . .that's the crowd that turned up based on speculation and just a couple hours of legitimate confirmation. Imagine what it would have been like if ARMY had been given REAL advance notice? Sheesh. . .

the day before some girls posted that in that billboard was the CK add, and they played it all the day (it seems days before that add didn´t show there), so they started to wonder if JK would be there. Hours before the confirmation was an add of xbox with the colors of the green Golden album, and JK made that short vid talking about xbox this week.

yesterday on twitter someone posted about how the stage was being built and the screen was open and they knew that post malone had done it and everyone kinda worked it out that it was pretty likely! amazing though that everyone took a chance on it!

I just got back from the city and OH MY GOODNESS THIS PERFORMANCE WAS AMAZING jk looked so good and it was so cool see ian and Brian and jake (the backup dancers) in person after watching them dance growing up i just was mind blown the whole time and kind of dont remember some of it because I honestly think i blacked out… but seriously i am sooooo proud of jk and just can’t wait for 2025 to see what they have in store for us because the was a CRAZY year kdkdksuzisugauskdopdj
