Mistletoes are for lovers. 5th stanza can be generalized as a message for everyone - his loved ones, the fans, all the people. 6th stanza also implies the 2nd person or the person he is talking to or addressing the message to as a certain person who can be "beside him" and hold him with "numb, freezing hands". "I'll feel the white snow fall with you for the rest of my life." - something of a lifetime promise to that certain someone. "did you see the snow? Like your eyes?" And "Every time this season comes around, like the tip of your nose..." So guess who is known for his distinctive bright eyes and nose. "Fall in love I'm just feeling Stay by my side I'll sing this song As I match my footstep to yours 'You make me wanna be a better man'" Again these stanza is directed to a certain person and has a romantic couply impression to it. The overall jazzy-r&b vibe and the mood of the song is likewise fitting for a Christmas date. Notice that when tae was talking about his snow flower song during sbs gayo red carpet, jk started to be clingy around tae and looking possessive. Tae did not tell on his letter about the background story of the snow flower song, unlike jimin who told what Christmas love is based on. Remember who are those 2 who still can't get over their predebut memory together, the Christmas memory of going to sauna and playing snowball fight and sled afterwards.
