He really gives his main vocalist position full justice. He never hides behind any effects, autotune or whatever. He always sings on run eps, turns on vlive to do free live concerts, posts on sns his raw singing snippets or covers. He naturally draws you in with his effortlessly rich voice. It’s always a delight to watch Jungkook in his element happily singing and vibing to the songs

I’m definitely an Ot7, but Jungkook is my bias for all the reasons you said. I’m a trained vocalist and I can’t do all the techniques that he effortlessly uses and taught himself to do.

I attended last Saturday's concert. It was my first time seeing them live. They all sounded BETTER live, I was honestly shocked. But JK was OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Best vocalist, HANDS DOWN. He was absolutely amazing sounding live.

I remember during PTD Seoul concerts. Jungkook's earpiece was off during their Black Swan performance and yet he stayed on the pitch, delivering a flawless performance. He's such an amazing artist.

He is a fantastic vocalist that became their main for a reason, and his voice is incredibly pleasing to the ear, slaying in all genres imaginable, expressing character and emotion of each on point ( you should listen to him when he sings Korean trot, its no joke). When you mentioned that various music producers attested to his talent and called him a dream come true to work with, I can also add that Jungkook´s voice is the only one that is almost never processed or pushed through various effects as it doesn´t need it being stellar on its own ( producers words as well). When you listen to a really well recorded and produced song on which everything is balanced to perfection, and he shines with all his parts, runs, adlibs, etc its a delight, HOWEVER a video like you just watched is a totally another level and a real testament to his true and exceptional greatness - with no fancy effects, no special mics, no autotune or support of their sound engineers and yet, he sounds absolutely divine.

Jungkook truly has a perfect pitch I remember watching Run BTS episode 150 during the touch bell game when they were tasked to guess the order of the notes being played by the staff and he was able to play it correctly right after hearing it once and I was so shocked like wow..😲

Jungkook does have an amazing voice, there’s no denying that but at the same time he’s human and there r a few times, rare times but yea, whereas he wasn’t on pitch but gradually got on pitch as the song went on but then again he’s human and people make mistakes and he’s definitely learnt from them so he’s still improving.

About Jungkooks pitch, like some people already mentioned there was a game on Run BTS where he had to play some notes in a specific order that was played for him and he was able to get it right first time he tried. However in that same video he said that he doesn’t really know the name of the notes. So even though he has perfect pitch when it comes to his hearing, he might not be able to tell the name of the notes.

There was a game on Run BTS that they had placed the "do-re-mi-fa-so-la-ti-do" bells and everyone had to turn around to just listen and not be able to see. Jk got the whole melody in 1 try, and won the largest hotel room.(each room got smaller, the more you got wrong) I think that he does have perfect pitch. Suga also ha perfect pitch. It was mentioned in an interview. 💜🤗🇺🇲💜

Suga has relative pitch but not perfect pitch. In that run BTS episode 150, it proves that Suga does not have perfect pitch. He said he doesn’t have it in that episode when he answered RM’s question about whether any of them has perfect pitch. But mostly you can clearly see he struggled and could not reproduce the notes played by the staff. If he had perfect pitch he would have been able to replay it as easily as jk did.

You know they recorded a run episode of repeating the pitch which was given them blindfolded and jungkook in 1 go play it so perfectly everyone got shocked. Many members n staff also said jungkook has good knowledge of perfect pitch. No wonder his covers are so perfect too. You give him any dong and he sing them perfectly on the spot. Plus no one knows the reason how he could be so stable during intense chorography or jumping 😅 big Mistry. The vest singer i have ever seen in my life.

Everything you have said about Jungkook here is so right and so well said. Some people don’t like to face the truth or simply don’t like to accept the truth: Jungkook was meant to be the main vocalist but he isn’t only the main vocalist.. he IS the main vocalist of the whole Korea. He is making magic everyday with songs, with his voice, he is full of talent and he keeps improving day by day, he keeps shining on his own way for being this high quality artist that nobody can touch. Jungkook is the real definition of perfect vocals, perfect melodies, perfect stage presence, perfect skills as artist, perfect pitch(…) he got everything an artist can wish to have. A real example as musician, as human being that everyone deserves to listen and appreciate. Always.

It would be cool if you see the beginning of one of the latest RunBTS episodes where they're at a HUGE hotel. They start out playing a game where they have to turn their backs to a toy xylophone/bells (somethings like that) and then a random melody is played. Then they have to go and recreate it. You should see JK in action ;)

PLEASE watch this jungkook king of acapella by Ida s . You two specifically PLEASE I guarantee it has much better quality clips some with a mic and like half of them with no mic just in live streams …it’s like top tier and easiest clear evidence in this video. Also his recording of “euphoria ad libs” is just him sitting there with the producer running through ideas of what he wants to add or change and it’s wild to see how fast things come to him and how easily he roles through them . Jungkook is perfect pitch…. He can hear others which is why he has perfect harmonies with vocalists and rappers. They actually had a challenge where he blew everyone else bc nobody else had a clue what the notes were and he kept up hit them perfectly even though two people were saying he was wrong lol but he kept sticking with his answer and was right . Lol I think that’s pretty easy to hear that he is a little off on that one you mentioned… but it’s also just them messing around doing karaoke just for fun lol this video does not do him justice and what you REALLY need to listen to to understand is the acapella stuff…. So much love with no microphone and some with microphone… but it’s his bare raw vocals that are unreal… PLeAsE watch “Jungkook king of acapella” by Ida s to really see even stuff that you haven’t seen yourself . People have a weird idea that “autotune” means lip syncing or something and it’s the whole idea behind this type of video but it also shows the misunderstanding of auto tuning and being used intentionally for a sound lol that’s why PLEASE watch this Ida s Jungkook king of acapella … it has a lot of stuff from live streams and you can hear how identical he sounds even without a microphone…. If not so much better bc of his emotional execution. PLEASE you two react to this bc I guarantee you’ll see some new clips and hear a lot you haven’t heard !! Jk si tiene tono perfecto Charlie lo confirmo en una entrevista luego de 5 años de haber colaborado en Corea, Jk era muy tímido y no le dijo😅, te sugiero ver un run Bts dónde tienen un reto de adivinar una secuencia de notas musicales, Jk lo logra al primer intento es increíble. Because of the unique tone and resonance of Tae's voice, he used to have intonation issues. He was often around the pitch instead of dead center. It's obvious to me that he has put in a lot of work to center his pitch. The unfortunate side effect is that he has lost a little of that unique round tone, but if I had to pick between tone and intonation, I'll pick intonation every time. It's the band nerd in me.

@Banana Hammock Refer to 12:44 if you don't understand why I mentioned Tae. I do, in fact, think JK has the BEST pop voice of this generation. He is immensely talented in many different aspects of singing. I just don't feel a need to insult other singers in order to praise him.
