His back up dancers are world renowned dancers and choreographers. Brian Puspos, Ian Eastwood, Vinh Nguyen, Nick Joseph, and David Pornel, and Jake Kodish. I know Brian is a choreographer Jungkook admired since he was young. Jungkook and Jimin (2016) covered Brian’s choreography for 'Own It'. Brian choreographed the dance for BTS' 'Butterfly' and Jimin's 'Serendipity.’ He even contributed to Jungkook's 'My Time'. Nick Joseph helped choreographed the 3J’s (j-hope, Jimin, and Jungkook) dance break for 'Butter' featuring Megan Thee Stallion. He also was a dancer and choregrapher for Suga on his D-DAY tour.

I became an army in 2019 when jk came like only came less than 10 times to social media for that whole year. To see his confidence grow and blow up this much gives me so much joy. I am looking forward to his future cos am sure greater things awake. JK PLEASE COME TO AFRICA FOR YOUR WORLD TOUR

The Barking sounds is to show love and affection or appreciation, commonly done in New York at events, men typically bark instead of scream but women do it too. The crowd showing love, they're having a great time!💜💜

When Suga did his LIVE (with Jimin) after his concert and he asked what that was/meant was the 1st time I (had to step out of my age) had to realize the younger generations may not really understand what that means 🤦🏾‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️ You know how you might say "how does somebody not know that" about something and then later go, damn that was judgemental once you apply more context? That was me😢😢sorry ARMY, go easy on me please!? Although I'm an ARMY Mom ya'll make me forget I'm an old lady sometimes. Can you believe ten of thouands of people gathered for a surprise event that officially announced just 30 minutes before the show? All started from an Army tweeted 5 hours before the show "Ey, why are people cleaning the Billboard?". Twitter went full on detective mode right away and without knowing whether it's true or not, they just made a bet and flooded Times Square. And they won, US ARMY were so lucky to witness a legendary performance in real time. I'm so proud to live in the same era of a legend in the making, JUNGKOOK, you are a MEGA GLOBAL POP STAR!!!

You're right guys. The "woof woof" started with Suga's tour and he said that it hyped him up. And for all the JK's promotions (in UK and USA) since Seven, ARMY started barking for him and if there is one thing to say, it's that when we bark, JK barks in return for sure. At that point, the barking can be labelled as an ARMY/BTS love language.🤣 Thanks for all your reactions guys, stay safe.

The reason he was so out of breath so fast was due to the weather conditions. The weather was freezing and he performed that morning as well outside in freezing temp on the today show. By the way he performed you would think it was perfect warm weather.

Ok I'm going to date myself but I'm a proud silver army so may as well. The barking was made popular by late night talk show host Aresenio Hall in the 90's. It was intended to get the audience hyped up and it spread from there. In an interview he shared it came from his hometown of Cleveland NFL Brown's fans known as 'the dogs'. The fans would bark to get the players hyped up so he brought that same energy to his late night show. It caught on and expanded beyond his show. It died out for quite some time but I've noticed it making a resurgence again the last few years. I guess everything does come back around again if you wait long enough lol. 💜😊

So Bighit announced that morning that there was going to be a special event happening in NYC but did not mention where and what time. ARMYs did some investigating. Someone in Time Square saw a mic stand outside on the TSX stage and guessed that he would perform there. Because Post Malone performed there one summer. So they posted it on Twitter and ARMYs started forming there hoping it is true. Then 30 mins before he started Bighit announced there and what time. It was an epic performance. I’m so proud of JK.

Just imagine the weather it was approximately 45 Fahrenheit, and JK had lit nothing covering him from the cold. With fewer degrees, our body must generate heat to prevent our body temperature from dropping, which implies greater blood flow to the skin and greater energy loss. That is why he was breathless with the first song. He is a TRUE artist! JK never disappoints, his vocals and moves were incredible. He really is a golden star our golden maknae.

Thats really weird and completely untrue. Army did it for the first time at Yoongi’s New York concert. Nobody knows why they started doing it because it’s a type of cheering more common to American sports fans. People that aren’t familiar with it think it sounds like barking but it’s more of a “hoo hoo hoo” sound.

10:24 “they’re barking again Jordan” 😂😂😂 that made me laugh so much. Idk where it all started but barking at idols is the norm now 😂 I think mostly westerners do this. The concert etiquette is very different in Asian countries. Basically it’s just to hype them up. And to let them know they’re attractive😂😂

they announced there would be a special event in nyc the day before then someone saw the billboard being cleaned so some people started to gather there in case it was related as post malone had performed there before and then some hours before the event was announced people who were there saw a microphone stand be put on the stage and jk’s dancers arrive until it was officially announced 30 mins before the event started. when he said 폼 미쳤다이 it means your form is crazy and can be used to compliment someone’s skills or looks but it’s also used as a way to say slay in korean, jk was asked how to say slay in korean on one of his stationhead listening parties and that was his response so now it’s a running inside joke between army and jk that you’ll probably hear him say a lot

Thanks for the video!!! About the barking - it comes from US sports and it's not anything specific to BTS. It seems to be K-pop concerts, in general. There was barking at the ONEUS concert in Atlanta in January 2023 and people at that concert told me there had been barking at other K-pop concerts in the US. Barking for Yoongi started when he kicked off the US leg of his tour in New York in April 2023. Maybe it will fade away without warning???

How about this for the Origen of barking. Black Americans have done it at college fraternity step shows for ages, it’s how Black Americans say Huray! Bravo! Cudo’s ! And now, like someone said before, it’s done at sports events mostly. Maybe you all knew this, but you were not making the connection in your brain. It is the ultimate sign of respect and satisfaction coming from a Black American.

If I'm not mistaken, the barking came from the fact that at sporting events and at hip-hop concerts (I think), fans barked, and since Suga loves basketball and is a rapper, the barking came naturally. And now ARMY is barking at live shows of all members. But! I think that barking is now present at all K-pop concerts of various artists, at least those that take place in the US, and I heard that it was also present at Harry Styles' concert.

So the barking started at the very first AgustD/SUGA concert which was in New York (I was there).It happened only once on the first night as I remember it. It was more that kind a WUH sound from sports that sounds stronger and where you usually have on fist in the hair going in circles. Kinda meant as a "way to go"/good job. Then someone repeated it on the 2nd night. I unfortunately immitated it to a friend talking about it which somehow accidentally set it off at the rows behind me and then the whole venue a second time that second night. Yeah... then it just became a regular thing, probably especially amongst New York. I'm not really personally too fond of it (it was fun the first few times because Yoongi looked so confused, but I think it's not really their cup of tea from what I can understand). Idk. They'll lprobably et us know if it should stop, however they also know it's just a weird way of showing love and appreciation. So, we'll see how long it lasts. It's fun to interact with the members in any kind of way.
