Just having some realistic offroading fun in a modified Gavril D-Series on BeamNG.drive, driven using Thrustmaster T300RS GT Edition with TH8A shifter and TSS handbrake. Enjoy!

4WDriving tip: lockers are for going up... Unlock when turning in a corner or going downhill... Also, Diesel engines have more torque (still nothing beats the sound of the side pipes)... Thanks for the video! Loved it as usual!!

If I'm going downhill with severe cross axle terrain I use my rear locker as well, to counter the open diff causing the car to "run away" if one rear wheel lifts off the ground. Works a charm.

True, diesel engines have more torque. Sadly the game cannot differentiate power and torque. I tested it, i spawn a 2 same truck, and i put a diesel engine in the forst car abd gasoline engine to the 2nd car. The 2nd car can climb higher and steeper cliffs. Also there is no difference in the performance when tackling obstacles

Just finished playing "Off-Road Drive" on Steam. I found it very enjoying. This could be interesting as well, although I've heard this game has some compatibility issues - and my PC is barely a mid-range one.

@@abhiramss404 i would not call that a medium spec pc lol. You can play any game at ultra setting with that. Got a ryzen 3 2200g and thats what i consider midrange. Low end is what i used to have so intel celeron + intel hd graphics

Xpert i recommend you to do not lock front diff when in 2wd mode, it makes the cars maneuverability worse.

My only one gripe with this game is the low range doesn't allow you to take your feet of the peddles and use engine breaking like in my real off road rig..

Yes it does... I do it all the time... Review your gear ratios and weight... I have a fully customized Roamer that can go downhill with a car in a trailer (bagged trailer) without touching the brakes... Give it another try

Man next time please use solid axle in the front and remove the sway bars. They reduce the flexibility of the suspension. You have an offroad suspension at the front and at the back but with sway bars its like a stock suspension with 0 flexibility. You can use offroad sway bars if you want to still have a little bit control on the road. You may also consider using a diesel engine because it has very good low rpm power, a lot of explosivness of newton meters from 1200-2000rpm. Just watch out with the bars on the turbo so you dont overtorque the engine. Good luck I expect the next video soon with this settings. :)

@@ruankoen5947 you should definitely avoid it, but it’s 100% possible, I trail a Ford expedition irl and I’ve found that it’s all about timing, like when to lock the breaks and when to let them slip. If we’re about to get into some sketchy stuff we’ll sometimes tie off our bumpers, just in case it does tip it won’t roll too far 😂

@@Cheez-Itz_Christ hahahaha yeah lol It is 100% possible I agree with you on that and I do the same lol ... but it is risky I always use a UTE seeing as they are long and have a lower weight to the ground ... only thing is With a long wheel base its much easier to bottom out haha

What program are you using on your phone to control your diff lock and stuff? I have been looking at sim hub but not sure if it will work with beaming. My plans were to do something almost exactly like what you have with my iPhone. Any help would be awesome
