Bottle caps? Yes bottle caps🤣
Apologies for the banging of my sash windows! It's a very windy day in Palmerston North but I just had to share! And...yes I did say "Windy Wellington" lol I lived there for 13years and sometimes I have a senior moment! 😆
Hope you enjoy this tutorial! ❤️❤️❤️

Haha yes, EVERYTHING we just need to be innovative on the how 🙂 and yes, the overall consensus seemed to be that no one seemed to mind the faffing, the furry interuption or the mistakes 😆 so I'll keep going 🥰

I love this, Sara🤗I love that you added the gold and how you sealed them with the resin. These make such cute charms! 🥰 And you are not alone with picking up rusty things lol. I’ve embarrassed my hubby and kids so many times picking up old rusty stuff in parking lots!😂 I’ve added those rusty flattened bottle caps to tags and I love the look! Thanks for sharing your great ideas!❤️

Awwww Sara-Lee, I love this!! You are just so creative. I don't have bottle caps but it made me wonder what else I could use. You are a teacher and I think that part of you inspires a lot of crafters. I did buy resin and the molds and I did make some of the dried flower charms you showed. It was as easy as you showed. I know you are such a busy person (and I thank you for the time you take to bring us your tutorials and flip throughs) so maybe you could start to think (just think at this time) about a FB group. I know people can post pictures there. Anyway, you are awesome!!

Loved this idea! I took a resin class at a pinners conference. When we were putting dried flowers and things down, to keep them from floating they taught us to first put a thin layer of resin and then place the objects down so they stick like glue. Then heat set to harden and then resin on top to get the cover. Works great! I cannot wait to see what you do with these bottle caps.

what kind of resin do you use ? i’ve only ever seen the kind you have to mix …
@sara-leearmstrong5009
@sara-leearmstrong5009 2 ай бұрын
If you check out my other video on resin, I go over the products I use and the links to where I get them are in the description. These are uv resins as opposed to drying time resins. Drying time, I have used before and yes I had to mix them, very messy! These uv resins come in a light proof bottle as any light (uv) will harden them. I hope this helps, thank you so much for taking the time to watch 🥰
