WOW, sooo creative!! I wish my brain could see the possibility in things better. I have never considered using my coffee filters in such a beautiful way. Thank you for the great example my brain is now going a hundred different ways. I can't wait to play!! I just love your channel!

Loooooooove these! I love Laurie’s artistic style too. I had to chuckle when you said you had to get past the perfection. I had a hard time, at first, not measuring everything but I learned to “let loose” with Laurie’s style and I can get in full swing much quicker now. Soooo much more fun than measuring. I just subscribed to you and look forward to more of your videos.

Lovely, Lovely!,, I think I have those vintage/Victorian images, or something similar, but I purchased the “photos”. Haven’t gotten into printing my own yet. Think I need to get a better printer. But my question is, don’t you use a lot of ink to print images like that? I mean they look GORGEOUS. Any tips would be appreciated - even as to what printer you might recommend. Thanks!

I don't think you need anything fancy for printing images honestly. I use an inexpensive Canon Pixma. I also use recycled ink cartridges SSHHH! They are a real money saver and don't affect my printing at all. I have heard others say they have an HP Printer and get on a monthly plan for $10/month and it automatically sends you the ink when you get low. I don't have an HP, but it might be something to look into. xoxo ~Jenifer

Can I ask what color dye is that on your seam binding edge... it looks like a deep rose red (1:28)?? I'm thinking maybe it's a Tim Holtz Distress Ink? Very pretty ! Where do you get the lovely roses napkins!....Everything is sooo Shabby Chic!!

Hi Nancy, ugh I cannot remember which spray I used. I do know it wasn't Tim Holtz because I don't have any. I think it was a Prima spray. My guess is it was the purpley pink, maybe magenta, watered down. The napkins, I found on this site. chiarotino.com/ Hope I helped! xoxo ~Jenifer
