Junk Journal Tags - upcycling product labels & packaging

I have load of clothes tags and products labels and packaging to use up and my cardboard journal from last week spurred me on to use more - so in this video I am making Junk Journal Tags. From start to finish it took me around 2 hours to make a number of tags - but I was just taking my time and enjoying the process. Again, I'm calling this one of my Junk! Use it or Lose it projects.

Wow! That was a hard rain you were getting! Nice day to play in the studio. Glad you did the repurposed tags they are brilliant. Love the stamped writing on the strips at the top of the big tag. That was brilliant, too! I also like the way you tore the tea died paper for the Tim Holtz doll to rest on. That is always a struggle for me if they need to sit or lean. I learn so much from you and am so very grateful. 🙏💌

My goodness, Kylie. You can take trash and turn it into something so cool and unique. And you must really enjoy it because I love watching you create it! TFS AGAIN!! ~~Liz PS, I loved the rain in the background!

I have a tin full of tags I have kept since my daughter was a baby. I used to use them in her scrapbooks. That's got me thinking... I love them. ❤

Greetings! I loved watching this again. Have been watching, but unless on my cell I can't comment. 😭. Need to get to my daughter's and have her figure it out for me. LOL. I have a big bag of tags and really need to sit down and do what you did today instead of on an as need basis. Hope all is well with you and yours. In my heart, and in my prayers. 🥰🙏

Wonderful tags! So creative! My fav is the big one with the ladies. Love your gold butterfly. I cut the ones out that you stamped on my envelope along with the stamp and washi and used them all on my journal page for that day. 😀 BTW - if anyone else asks, in the US, they can get that rotary cutter at Michaels. I just got one a few weeks ago!

Thank you so much Debbie - I just love altering things in this way. And I'm so pleased you cut the things from the envelope - especially the stamp :) When I was at the Post Office I said I would prefer stamps to the pre-printed labels that they now do - and I said to them that people still like and appreciate real stamps! Thanks for the info about the rotary cutter being available at Michaels - a few people have asked about it. Thanks again :)

I'm making a journal like you made recently from a cardboard box. Mine doesn't look like yours. It is fun but gets me a bit anxious when it looks bad. So I put more paint on it. You make it look easy. Love your videos . I like recycling projects.

Thanks so much for your kind comments Patricia - I bet your journal is just as good as mine - it may look different but that's just your own style coming out - juts go with it. I'm hoping to do some more junk and recycling projects very soon. :)
