To add to your Junk Journals! Today I am continuing to make things from the ever-abundant collection of book pages I have. I make some fast and simple Paper Bags with old book pages that can be at the ready when needed.

Each Ephemera Collection (Fundle) has approximately 100 pieces in it and will contain:
old ledger pages, hand-dyed papers, postcards, tea cards, handwritten papers, awesome book pages, botanical, field guide & nature pages & fun papers for junk journals and so much more! These are from my personal collection, many are very old and weathered and worn due to age and some must be folded due to their size. Have lots of fun with these, fellow paper lover! :)

Great tutorial, Pam. I love that you appreciate the value of junk mail. Another favorite of mine is thin chipboard packaging, like cereal boxes, but I especially like the kind that's a bit thinner. It's brilliant for making tags and pockets. Of course, it just begs to be wrapped in book pages. Thanks very much! ~ Lisa

I have picked up tons of jewelry from yard sales. I usually can but all of what they have for just a couple of $$’s. I deconstruct it and have it ready for just about anything. Fun fact about doing this, my husband and I buy silver when we can find it at yard sales as well. I have found, that people don’t realize the value of a broken silver (or gold) necklace and just throw that in with their costume jewelry. It all adds up and we have gotten so really good deals this way.

Very good directions. You could cut another piece of the paper you used to strengthen the top of the bag for the handles and put it in the bottom of the bag.

Brand new subbie! I had to get to my desk and make my own "baglet" and "grocery bag" as soon as I started to view your video! I used book pages featuring penguins from a vintage bird book to make a gift bag for my grandson. I love your conversational style. It was so much fun to craft right along with you. Thank you!

I totally love all of your ideas on using up book pages. You are awesome. I so love watching you create. Your sound effects always bring a smile to my face. Sometimes an outright chuckle. If you want a stronger bag could you glue double pages together before you make your tube ?

Pretty cool way to make a gusset! These are cute and handy for any size. Any paper too. Love it. (Treasurebooks here on YT has a good video on gift bags as well.) I love making things from stuff most people would throw away!
