I find rolls of old wallpaper at thrift (charity) shops. I've also have used gift wrap and gift bags purchased at thrift stores and dollar (pound) stores as background paper. I only buy scrapbook paper if it is on sale or clearance. Lately, I've been using scrapbook paper I found at a discount store and have gelli-printed my own colored papers. That's a lot of fun too, gelli-printing with acrylic paint and stencils/masks. My art dolls that I've been putting in my positivity journal lately have gelli-printed backgrounds. I've been using food labels as Dolly's dresses and I cut her arms and legs from women's clothing catalogs I get free in the mail. You have some lovely wallpaper there. Have you harvested old calendars for images?
