You are for sure the master of collaging. I know I have watched this video before but with my forgetful mind I forgot about it. And it is so awesome and I know now why I was saving those large envelopes. As soon as I get the really awful mess cleaned up on my craft table I would like to just sit and make a whole bunch of these they are so wonderful

🌟Wow! Thank you for showing the step-by-step process. By demonstrating this way, advanced crafters can fast forward to the place they need, yet new crafters aren't left frustrated due to missed steps. Also, you are just a patient teacher. Please consider doing a video on how to use toilet paper rolls and more on smaller envelopes with windows. I just can't find a good video on regular sized, used windowed, junk mail envelopes. You are very much appreciated!!

These was right up my street! I share space so I switched to collage from painting. You can do so much in a tiny spot. I tease my mailman that never in my wildest dreams would have thought I'd be so happy to see junk mail come through my letter slot. Thanks, Joie for all your great suggestions💕

I love hearing you say material instead of fabric! My Grandmother taught sewing classes in a Singer Sewing Machine & Fabric store for 30 years but her whole life she call it material & I do the same. Most posters refer to fabric or textiles but I love hearing material

Oh cool 😎envelope pocket 😍 and collage too! I love Luise's papers, she's also a very funny lady 😂😂. Didn't work with envelopes until this year, I love them. 🍄🍄🍄🍄🍄😍😍😍😍😍. Warm up is important creatively, it actually shifts our brain functions over to it's artistic side (my favourite art teacher's lessons never left me 😁) . I am also obsessed with collage, it is so relaxing and no two collages are the same. Those paper bits, they are useful. I've used them for making paper bowls, a protective surface for blown out chicken eggs so if they get dropped durring the beading process they won't shatter. I've made paper beads. I've used them to coil around the plastic bead garlands that I cut apart. I covered one of the bowls with thoes. I've used them to make mini collages on one side of peices of heavier plastic and then used them in bead embroidery. They are indeed useful. It seems like turning envelopes into pockets could be turned into a puzzle game like a scavanger hunt to find all the hidden pickets and what's inside them. Watching you make this has stirred lots of ideas.

@@joiedefi yes. The down side is the mental over load that can happen or going completely blank as to know what to do next. It's like being in a room that's loaded with materials to create with and not knowing where to start because it's all amazing and wonderful.

Liked this project but as soon as you said paints papers I realized I need to make more! For Nov , have you ever considered using purple 💜 as one of the colours in your pallet? I think the bug sheet had a grayish mauve in it. And it would blend with orange and green! 😊💖🍁
