Watched this before.... but went back again to make sure I knew the steps. I appreciate the details because I AM ONE OF THOSE NEWBIES you mention who needs these details! I am a first time viewer. I wanted to say I enjoyed your video! And also got a top tip by watching you pull the pin from your glue bottle, with the beads attached to it! What?,you might ask? I love to hear the sweet children playing. We had a horrific tragedy in our community yesterday. We lost some children and a parent in an accident. Prayers for the families and community please! As always I look forward to your videos and needed some cheer this morning!❤️

Brilliant!! I have so many envelopes! This s the first time I’ve seen this, yay, Melina. I have a confession to make to make, I much prefer your videos to hers. Rachel over on Roxy Creations has quite a few envelope videos, but like I said this is the first time I’ve seen this. And it’s absolutely brilliant! Thank you for all your hard work! 🥰💕

Love this project - you made me chuckle a lot as you sounded like me when I’m crafting! I remember I crafted with a friend doing book collages on a card. She finished - it was lovely... except for a 5 letter word for a man’s bits which featured prominently and once seen could not be ignored! A bit of hasty stamping remedied the situation.

😅 Oh it's terrible when that happens. I did a full page collage with pages ripped from a charity shop book once and the page ended up being gesso'd over, it was pure smut🤣😅🤗💜

I make these with flap and window on the same side, and use them to hold my fussy cuts, labels, all small pieces. I add a whale-tail tab to tell what's inside and stand them in an altered tissue box so they're easy to flip through. Mine aren't this pretty... love those stamps!

I'm on fixed income so can't invest like the youngsters. It all started before altered envelopes became so popular. It works well but now the company changed from white to kraft-colored envelopes with a brown tweed inside... much too pretty not to put right into the journals!

I hardly get any junk mail these days, just loads of junk email. I do however, get loads of mail in the larger A5 window envelopes and a few of these longer ones. I wonder why journallers insist on calling these envelopes junk. Thank you for the video.

Yes Lucy i have the same problem. Most of my bills and accounts are now digital. Since making junk journals i've learned to appreciate the A5 kraft envelopes HMRC, DWP and the local council like to send stuff out in😁 I think we are just conditioned to call anything that we didn't ask for that comes through the letter box, junk mail. Now envelopes have gotten lumped into that bracket i guess. Thanks for watching love😊🤗💜

Thanks Tora😊 I'll be honest with you, I never like my collaging until it's finished and I collage much better when I'm waffling and I don't over think it. Doing the full page collage masterboard thingys are great for boosting your confidence. They always look good after you cut them up😁🤗😊💜

I love how you make these. I’ve been cutting off the top to make pockets, but I like these policy envelops better. The great thing about using these envelopes is the seemingly endless supply! I’m so happy to hear you got the laptop and think you were VERY smart to wait for the sale. It’s tough being a mother because kids always need something! I used the 2 birds saying yesterday but omitted the “kill.” Some are so awful, aren’t they? 😅 ❤ SayessDesign
