The original Matrix made the Wachowskis some of the most famous writer-directors across our entire simulation. With 2015's Jupiter Ascending they tried to recapture the essence of the Matrix through a very similar storytelling method -- worldbuilding. The movie starred very in-demand actors like Mila Kunis and Channing Tatum and packed pretty amazing visuals as well, but ultimately ended up becoming yet another box office flop that lost around a 100 million dollars. Transporting his children from New York to Boston in an attempt to find safety at Mary Ann's parents' house, Ray must learn to become the protector and provider he never was in marriage.
