My theory is that Hutch didn't move the train, he teleported an already moving train onto the scene. It was just pure inertia that made the train plough through the soldiers

What makes the scene in this video make less sense is that one of them is a telepath. So why not just make thought bubbles for their conversation. Unless they are in space but he then created the same image in their heads to speak. Hmmm.

In Jupiter’s circle it actually explained that with their telekinesis they can create an air bubble around their head in space and with their enhanced senses they can probably hear vibrations created in those bubbles

Because the Boys (and the Umbrella Academy) STOLE a lot of stuff from Jupiter´s Legacy. In the comics, the Boys is all about superheroes being evil, but it doesn´t have any of the "superheroes as celebrities, movie stars and famous athletes" stuff.

The writer of the Boys is Garth Ennis (the writer of Preacher, Punisher MAX, Marvel Knights, Hellblazer...) And the writer of the Umbrella Academy is Gerard Way (also writer of Doom Patrol, Killjoys, singer of My Chemical Romance...) The production team behind each of the TV shows is also completely different.

Not sure about the rod but I think I get some of Chloe's powers. She has telekinesis so she could have been vibrating the molecules in the guns to melt them. Then with her explosive energy she may have been splitting molecules with her mind to cause tiny nuclear explosion's around her.

Battlechasers by Joe Madureira was another title that was released on a horrible schedule, but I absolutely love every panel of it. I've never been a huge fan of Frank Quitely drawing super-heroes. I'm a firm believer that some artists fit some books. I like his work here. Probably because these characters are completely unknown to me.

I’m torn on this being a Netflix adaptation. I like that a lot of the depth can be explored, at the same time. I feel there’s a real cinematic element to the story that may be missed. I hope not.

I kinda liked Jupiter’s legacy but it started and built up these characters just to kill them off and just time jump. The betrayal was intresting but I wish it didn’t happen so soon. I wish we got to know the characters and see the difference between the young and old hero’s and see the youth of the second generation because you the time it happened we barely knew anyone so I didn’t feel as much when it happened. Like how can I feel for the superheroes if I barely know them.

The book really rushes to the quick turn of Walter, Brandon and Jules. I think the show adaptation will be one of the few times I actually think they will do it better because they’ll take their time with it and stretch it out.

Don’t hold your breath. IE death note. Do expect a lot of “Netflix adaptation” horse trash. Just like boys, which sucks compared to the books, and invincible, which can’t even be called an adaptation as they removed and altered so much. It will get fucked. Enjoy the books.

You're acting like they completely altered invincible the series is literally the same, the only difference is that some of the issues are in different places. Overall it's still a well structured story. Now the boys is completely different but definitely isn't a shitty show. The books may be better but it doesn't automatically make the adaptation shit.
