Just went back and looked at that catalog myself and you're right, it's included with the series 2 items. I honestly never noticed that, if I ever remake these older videos im going to mention that.

@@jurassicreviewschannel here is one more interesting fact: the lost world line had some changes made to certain figures very late in its development. Example, have you ever wondered why some raptors have different colored eyes, or why some pachy figures had different shaped pupils and different colored domes? This was most likely due to a change made to the figures to make them resemble there film counterparts better. The jp toys forum has a really good example for this. In their prototypes section for TLW they have images of packaging tests for those 2. They were made to test the shape of the boxes using whatever they had lying around. That means they were made earlier on in the lines development. Both the raptor and the pachy are those “rarer color variants”. Indicating that those versions are just the copies from the first few batches, before they attempted to make them more accurate to the film. There are a few more cases of this happening with 2 human figures (Roland and Nick). Some copies of Roland were sent out with trex turner heads, and some copies of Nick were sent out with a hat. (Malcom was supposed to get a new head without glassss for his figure from this film, however it never left the prototype stage). That didn’t stop that version from being featured on the back of the box though.

@@jurassicreviewschannel that could also be part of it, but with some of the evidence I’ve found during research I think my theory is probably true. (Sidenote: I forgot to mention some details about the 2 pachy variants. The rarer “early production” version has a lot of similarities with the jps2 version. It has slit pupils, a yellow dome, and its jp mark is on the tail. The “later production” version has circular pupils, a white dome, and its jp mark is on the leg).

@@XPproductions365 Didnt know the yellow dome was an earlier production, makes sense though with the jps2 similarities. There's other things ive wondered about, like the different Thrasher packaging (horizontal and vertical variants), and the larger pachy having an exposed button or a covered up one.

Thats interesting, I never noticed that. If I ever do a video on this figure again ill have to mention that.
