I said the same thing! That’s the coolest part of the whole ride. Just watching it I was like “bye Dino….” Expecting it to go around a corner and disappear then I was like “Wait why you still coming….. holy…. How far can you goooo?” Like it wasn’t just a few feet like…. It followed for a good distance. This is also a completely different experience compared to the river adventures too.

2:25 The part where the vehicle is trying to get away from the Indominus rex in reverse is a reference to Michael Crichton's The Lost World novel. Suddenly, one of the tyrannosaurs burst from the trees in the road ahead. The animal stood there, snarling, blocking the road. "Oh Christ," Dodgson said, slamming on the brakes. The car slid sickeningly in the muddy track, came to a stop. The tyrannosaur lumbered toward them, bellowing. "Turn around!" King screamed, "Turn around!" But Dodgson didn't turn around. He slammed the car into reverse, and started backing down the trail. He was driving fast, and the road was narrow. (Crichton, Michael. "Fourth Configuration: Dodgson." The Lost World, pp. 254.) This is a great way to pay homage to the man who wrote the original Jurassic Park novel while still providing something completely unique.

I wish this ride was in Universal Studios Hollywood. It would be a cool addition to the park.

I personally feel like if anything, Florida would get it. Florida has more space and it can replace our severely outdated Jurassic Park ride, and also Universal's main park is Florida.

Holy shit, that animatronic was CHASING THE VEHICLE. God that would have scared the absolute shit out of me. "Okay that was scary, bye now... WAIT WHY ARE YOU FOLLOWING US"

This is absolutely insane and puts the ones in the USA to shame. They should close down the JP River Adventure in Orlando and add this ride to Universal's upcoming Epic Universe park 🤩

Or they could replace Kong with this, and replace the river adventure with the one in Hollywood, that and Velocicoaster would be three world class Jurassic World rides in one land, unrealistic but I can hope.

@@iamaidansmith7542 I ain’t sayin that it’s the better ride, from a design and technical standpoint at least, I’m just saying my corpse is gonna be on that boat when they demolish it. Though in all seriousness I hear the Floridians really like the version that’s there now and want to keep it. At least that’s what I hear from the staff. Plus I feel theme parks do themselves a service putting different rides (or different versions of it) at different locations. Gives a reason to travel to each one and all that. Plus I kinda like that JP River Adventure doesn’t have a soundtrack. To me it makes it feel more immersive (not that I think all rides should not have a music soundtrack mind you, I just like the variety.)

The chasing feels so real when you are on the ride. Although I noticed how it is realized on my second time ride. The first time experience was unforgettable.

All I’m saying is… Reign of Kong sticks out like a sore thumb at islands and it’s been around for 6 years and has a lot of down time. Maybe replace it with this? Maybe convert the tok lagoon theater into a sort of Jurassic world show?

I agree! One of the best rides ever.. I wish they'd take this ride to Orlando but with Epic Universe coming and how awful people thought the latest Jurassic Park movie was.. very unlikely. 😑

There sadly is no Orlando one. This version is only in Beijing. Though maybe and hopefully it will come to Epic Univers when its done.

I don’t think the ride will ever be in the Orlando resort. The only place I can see it being in is in an expansion of epic universe.

I'd wish Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando Florida will open up these great attractions with english version of it not bengji language that'll be great for Jurassic Park/World fans including me sometime in 2030's or 2040's, I really love the this ride !
