The brachiosaurus death had me sobbing. It stuck with me the whole rest of the movie and I still think of it without just being sad. I had to skip it during the kill count!

Fun fact: That bugs bunny smile the indoraptor does was suppost to be waaaay more creepy. There was a deleted scene where some mercenaries were going to be mistreating the indo, and one of them smiles while brutally beating it. The indoraptor saw this and tried to replicate this smile, seeing it as something you would do if yiu were going to hurt something.

There were honestly so many deleted scenes that really did not need to be cut and would’ve helped the film such as a scene with the indo playing with a human skull, a conversation mentioning how it takes 3 tranquilizer darts to knock it out (foreshadowing), and one where the nanny dies fighting off the indo to protect Maisie

So, fun fact, being behind Glass for something that sees in Infrared would actually make you invisible to it, since glass effectively acts as a "mirror" to infrared radiation. Thermal observation is unable to view behind Glass at all because of this, so that's likely why the Indo wasn't able to find the trio behind the Glass.

The reason the prices are so low because I heard an interview that Steven Spielberg said that the original prices were like too high and he gave some pretty good points about how these dinosaurs are basically priceless to a JP fan so yeah they just took a random guess so they just did whatever I mean I’m not proud of it but at least they went with something

The greed that humans have over these dinosaurs finally lead a human antagonist to straight up murder another person. Lockwood’s death actually felt like one of the darkest kills in the franchise.

That's actually one of the less stupid things about this movie. How does he not burst into flames from the lava moments later? Why does a starved Baryonyx react to lava hitting its face like it got splattered with bodily fluids? And I don't care how smart the raptors are supposed to be, there's no fucking way it would associate the smell of gas with an imminent explosion.

Apparently Iris, the girl's nanny, had a cut death scene too where she attacks and distracts the Indoraptor with a sword, before Grady comes in to save the kid. They should've kept it in, in my opinion, but boy this movie had a LOT cut from it

The weirdest thing about the auction scene is that apparently living, breathing dinosaurs sell for less than some fossil specimens have sold for. For reference, Sue the T. rex costed the Chicago Field Museum $8.4 million

Then you should know that none of the dinosaurs at that auction sold for less than 10 million dollars. Your comment is literally incorrect. The only dinosaur skeleton sold more than the subjects at the auction was Stan the T rex which was artificially inflated in price at an auction for 27.5 mil. In reality most skeletons won't go for more than 5 mil and 10 mil at most. Plus the Ankie is the vanilla of dinosaurs and is def not worth 10 mil. I also find it rich that people criticize the film for using dinosaurs for war where they would be useless and then turn around and say they should be worth more when they're being sold off. If they're deserve to be sold for more why do people complain about them being useless.

When the submarine recon guy says: "Anything in here would be dead by now," I believe he's saying that the Mosasaurus should have starved to death without anyone to feed her. I suppose she could have survived by hunting in a crocodilian fashion: grabbing dinosaurs that got too close to the water (like the Indominus).

The cool thing is that the T-Rex in this film is the same one from the first Jurassic Park and the previous Jurassic World you can even see the scars from when the raptors jumped on her at the end of the first film

When Dominion gets Blu-Ray and Dead Meat can do it. It’s gonna be a very small kill count because 1: Almost all the deaths are animals 2: Barely any humans die 3: Most of the major deaths belong to dinosaurs with the only major human death being Dodgson (I don’t count Rainn, he’s more of a side villain)

Fallen Kingdom was pretty good, the unneeded daughter twist seemed a little pointless to me, but I didn’t mind the idea of the auction going on, it was a better reason to get dinosaurs off the island than the Lost Worlds planned Dino Zoo haha.

Honestly same here, and I didn't even grow up with the series. Well, I *did,* but I never really sat down and got lost in them like most fans. It was already so heartbreaking just to see such a beautiful creature unable to escape the inevitable (it would have drowned if it didn't die from the smoke anyway, I refuse to admit the fire got to it before that point). It was even more heartbreaking to realize that my favorite dino from the one film I *did* get lost in passed away here.

To be honest, the dinos probably still would have died. It would vent, but far too slowly to make a difference if there aren't any fans to blow the poison out, and the poison is continuing to leak anyway.

Outside isn't outer space. It isn't a continuous vacuum that sucks everything out that's silly. Not only would it not vent the gas fast enough to save the dinosaurs but the toxins are coming from INSIDE the building. It wouldn't have done jack shit if it's continuously being replaced by more gas.

For the poisonous gas, there is an explanation. If something goes wrong with any of Wu's experiments, they can quickly use the gas to dispose the stuff off.

In a way it kind of makes sense I'm not saying it wasn't a bad plot point just to have the mosasaurus escape but mosasaurs from what we know lived in the sea meaning there requirement would have been salty water leading to the fact that the river was a man made channel designed to house the mosasaurus and I know this explanation probably misses tonnes of other plot points but it's fun to theorize.

Based on the size ratios and the way Mosy dragged her under, I felt like it was implied that the Indo may have been nommed up but she wasn't swallowed up completely like the lady and the pteranodon. Seems like the attack was less food-driven than territory-driven.

Plus, they were owned by Ingen anyway, and it would save time and money if they just grabbed the dinos from Sorna and brought them to Nublar. Came back to watch this gem again, you make the best videos mate, and I gotta laugh how in the beginning, the people who made the park essentially had their fish tank that held the Mosasaur open directly to the ocean, that has to get someone fired lol. Funny thing, on the mobile game Jurassic World, the lagoon that contains the Mosasaur and other sea creatures is cut off from the sea, but the funny thing is that behind the protective barrier where the creatures are, there’s a legit beach for residents from a hotel nearby to chill, relax, and swim even. I find it hilarious that the thing separating all the prehistoric maritime monsters from vacationers is a measly iron bar barrier.

Fun Fact about Carnotaurus: It was actually in The Lost World’s novel, but it was more like the Indominous, it could camouflage, and even mimic chain link fence patterns! But it was much smaller than both the real life one and the one from this film, at only about 7 feet tall.

I hope that your Carnotaurus puppet can read as well as watch movies, because his favorite entry in the Jurassic franchise has to be Michael Crichton's novel The Lost World (1995). Not only does that book feature the Carnotaurus, but Crichton gives them the awesome ability to camouflage, resulting in a couple of really spooky dinosaur attacks. That's probably where Jurassic World got the idea to have the Indominus rex camouflage itself, a plot point that I personally do not think was utilized as well in that movie. It only appears in one scene, and it doesn't have the creepy, horror-esque element that it does in the novel.

There was a lot of things cut from this movie. For the part where the indoraptor smiled while it trick Wheatley, it would have been established earlier in the film by Eli that a worker that tended to the indoor was abuse to it for no reason,and smiling everything he tased the indo. The indo broke a light in its cage which made the guy go in there to fix it where he was killed by the indo, where it would have shown the indo smiling to mock the guy, and then cut to show the indo playing around with the skull of the guy. Sorry if that went on too long, but it sucks that that part was cut from the film, for no reason

And the reason they probably cut that from the movie was because if that scene was in there it would definitely not be pg-13, if he was abusing the indoraptor, then thats showing animal abuse and then if the indoraptor played with the guys skull, than that would easily make it R
