The darkest if not the best Jurassic World movie in the Franchise. When I saw this with my parents, I saw some elements of Horror and Disaster movies, and they blended it perfectly. In fact parts of the novel, including the volcano erupting is based on the ending to the book, where the Costa Rican government bomb the island back to Stone age with napalm, killing all the stuff Dinosaurs, to make sure they done escape to the mainland.

I, for one, am *GLAD* that Maisie pushed the button to release the dinosaurs. That was a very emotional scene when we saw the dinosaurs struggling while the toxic gas began to suffocate them. If it wasn't for Maisie's heart and her decision, watching the dinosaurs slowly die (this would not have been a quick death for them) would have been far too emotionally painful. Several scenes were emotional for me. (1) Obviously, the Brachiosaurus being engulfed by the volcano at the dock. (2) Blue's operation and removing the bullet from her leg. (3) The flashback of baby Blue and her emotional bond with Owen when he fakes being weak. (4) Maisie discovers her dead grandfather. (5) When Owen and Claire meet Maisie and she cries because of her grandfather's death. (6) Watching the dinosaurs roar in agony while the toxic gas engulfs them. (7) Blue saying goodbye to Owen at the end. All of those scenes were very emotional for me. I don't even know which one was the saddest as they were all very sad.

12:10, the Rex chasing the Merc was based on the 1992 script as Grant was being chased by the dinosaur to the helicopter, and as the dino grabbed the skid, Grant shot the animal with a flare gun. He closes the door and the helicopter flies off.
