Best bet is ebay - older Papo figures are more scarce these days!

I bought this the other day, i love the Ceratosaurus and the Spinosaurus, and i think the juvenile goes well with my adult Spinosaurus (which is still one of the coolest looking dinosaur toys ever). However, as i am more scientifically interested in prehistory, i have to say i’m not really a fan of the two legged Spinosaurus. It looks cool, but i’m on a mission at the moment to try and educate as many people as i can, because it’s just wrong to keep teaching kids the wrong things. Edit: One more thing, the tail on this guy is just shocking... In reality Spinosaurus’ tail was thick and maybe even had a thagomizer on the end, and seeing this crocodilian/snake like tail is just annoying.

A nice sculpt. But it's a shame the hands are pronated. The crests above the eyebrows are inaccurate as well, as it should be a single crest in the middle of the forehead.

Actually, it's supposed to be juvenile. It's spine is most likely not fully developed yet. If it didn't have the baby face and eyes, it could probably pass for an Irritator. The scale is right, but would be too small for the other Spinosaurids.

The reason that there is no “pterodactyl” figures is because pterodactyl never existed meanwhile there is a pteranodon

Yes, there is a pteranodon toy, but it has teeth, unlike the actual creature. Therefore, I will refer to it as "Ludodactylus."

I have this model and I'm honestly kinda 'on the fence' with it. It's an interesting concept but I find that the figure has a somewhat outdated feel to it. And I hate the tail, it looks broken...
