You were harsh on Caulker, he was just signed to be an emergency backup, because we had an injury crisis. He played up top vs Norwich and actually helped us won 5-4 that game

Players that left Liverpool has never really been able perform from what I can remember. Only exception is Suareź. Ahh Suareź… one of the greatest player I’ve ever seen.

If you're talking Pre-Klopp then Sterling as well. Since Klopp though, I think its evident of Klopp's ability to get the best out of players that when they leave you realise how good Klopp is as manager over how good the player is.

Karius was treated terrible by most Liverpool fans, happy to say I'm not one of them. The guy got us into the final (most forget that part) and took a heavy knock during the game (most ignore that) then made a few mistakes (most like the remember this part). Absolutely one of the moments I hated calling myself a Liverpool fan most. Not great seeing a fan base so fickle!

@@tomtalley2192 That's his part of the story, I dont think that field doctor even acknowledged that. If that was true he should be subbed off during that crucial match. Probably that was only an excuse for him to escape all those scolding from all Liverpool fans. Klopp knows everything, if he got benched permanently after that game until he was sold, means Klopp knew he was not good enough and always make mistake otherwise why we need to buy Alison Becker to replace him?

Caulker was signed on loan as we had central defence crisis at the time. When he finally got to play, some of those defenders were fit again. It wasn’t an failed experiment to play him up front. He came on as sub late on in a few games we were trailing (“throw the big man on up front” etc), and one of those games was the 5-4 win v Norwich in which his presence led to the winner

Idk if you really should have counted short term loans like Caulker and veteran experienced backup GK signings like Maninger. Neither were ever brought in to be regular 1st team players. The only "bad" signing I feel like Klopp ever made was Karius. Matip should go down as one of the best free transfers ever.

Dude. Not every signing that didnt played is a fail. If they got a positive effect on the team atmospheare and u sell them for a profit. Its good deal. You got to see the impact of the field too.

youre actually clueless... karius had a concussion in that final and disregarding that he actually had a great season and manninger was signed as a coach, caulker wasnt a flop and was seen as a stopgap so he wasnt a failure either. klavan is a legend dont bismirch his great name, do your research.

Ah yes, Karius made a big mistake by letting himself get elbowed into a concussion by the bully Ramos. Not to mention he led us into the final in the first place, so put some respect on his name!
