His first ever interview when he came to Liverpool, the journalist asked him how he feels about all the excitement Liverpool fans have because he joined Liverpool. Kloppo answered, it’s not important what people feel when you come in, it’s much more important to see if they’ll be that excited when I leave. Meaning all what matters is what you will do at the club when you join. The “normal one” is leaving as a legend

Looking back at all the achievements Klopp made, I cant but feel a bit sad that we came in 2nd twice within 1 point and lost two UCL finals (especially the second one vs Real, we really needed revenge and we had a perfect team to do it but Courtois had the perfect game).

Klopp announced it early to put it out there, let everyone absorb it and get over it, then move on with the season. Better than hearing the day after the season that he's gone & the new manager search clock is limited. Klopp always thinking ahead & putting the club first. What a legend. Up the reds!

In 2018, a distant echo reached my ears from across the Atlantic, whispering of a team in red that transcended the boundaries of a sport. It wasn't just about goals or victories; it was about principles, fairness, and doing things right. Liverpool FC emerged, adorned with names like Salah, Milner, Henderson, Robertson, Mane, and Firmino - a symphony of talents guided by the maestro himself, Jurgen Klopp. Klopp isn't just a manager; he is an architect of dreams, weaving threads of energy, positivity, and belief into the very fabric of Liverpool. In the alleys of Anfield, a transformation unfolded - not just of a team but of a city, a fan base, and a mindset. Each match was a brushstroke on a canvas, crafting a masterpiece of resilience and camaraderie. And today, as Klopp announces his departure to us, I reflect on a journey that transcended the boundaries of football. His legacy isn't just the trophies, but the spirit, the fight, and the indomitable will to stand up for what's right. In every cheer from the Kop, in every chant echoing through the city, Klopp's impact reverberates-a testament to the enduring power of a team that plays not just with skill, but with heart. As the final whistle approaches, I honor and celebrate the man who infused not just a game, but a way of life, with his artistry. Klopp, the conductor of dreams, will leave behind a symphony that will echo through the hallowed corridors of Anfield and beyond, inspiring generations to come. You'll Never Walk Alone ♥️

Another important thing as to why Liverpool have been so successful during the Jurgen Klopp era has been excellent recruitment decisions and his ability to develop players and turn them into world beaters. A prime example of this is Mohamed Salah as the guy was seen as a premier league reject and under him the guy nowadays gets all these “best player in the world” shouts and Sadio Mane was seen as a good forward at Southampton, he was Jurgen Klopp’s first big signing at Liverpool and at one point he was in contention for the Ballon Dor, Virgil Van Dijk as well is now one of the greatest defenders of his generation. Andy Robertson was playing in Hull City and once again was literally the best left back in the world. Trent Alexander Arnold Diogo Jota Luis Diaz Cody Gakpo Darwin Nunez Fabinho Jordan Henderson Curtis Jones Dominik Szoboszlai and others have got better and developed under him whether they were signed by another club or made them better players. Liverpool’s success under Jurgen Klopp absolutely makes a mockery out of Manchester United and Erik ten Hag. Earlier today I read something that says that Erik ten Hag in 2 seasons at Manchester United has spent more money than Jurgen Klopp during his 8 year tenure at Liverpool. What I mean by that is over the years Manchester United have spent hundreds and millions of dollars on players in the last decade and have had little to no success whatsoever and Erik ten Hag has spent a lot of money and has gotten all the players that he wanted and 2 years into his project, where’s the identity and what’s the direction that this football club is heading. Last time I checked, this was the same guy that said “all eras come to an end”. That has nothing to do with why Jurgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool because that’s embarrassing for him if Man United end up sacking him but that’s for another conversation. Unlike certain teams, not only they did spend money wisely, Liverpool had a vision under Jurgen Klopp and he actually developed the players and turned them into superstars and he’s done it at Mainz and Borussia Dortmund as well and the guy is a special manager.

😮😢…what a great loss for LFC. He will be forever a LFC legend. If the club chooses the next manager ONLY based on their CV, their tactics or systems of play then we will struggle again. LFC’s play was a reflection of Jurgen’s personality, character, humanity, humility & his big heart to put the whole LFC family & the fans first instead of himself, not just only on tactics & systems. It was about continuous improvement and hard work & loving what you do and having fun. The next manager needs to have these traits. God bless Jürgen & thank you…YNWA

Jurgen Klopp announcing that he’s leaving Liverpool at the end of the season is something that caught a lot of people off guard and it shocked the entire footballing world. It’s understandable that a lot of people are sad and confused on why he’s leaving as yes he’s had a very successful tenure at Liverpool we get that he turned them back to a top European club, but at the same time we have to respect his decision. Earlier today, he said that he wants a break from coaching as he doesn’t have energy to coach and maybe some of it is down to the congested schedules because we’ve heard him voice out about how the players are playing too many games, he doesn’t like 12:30 kickoff time games and as a manager you feel like there’s some stress going on and you want to take a break meaning that he won’t coach another team until 2025 or 2026 at the latest. He’s done incredibly well and his last ever home game on the Liverpool touchline will be a sad day for their fans and many of us don’t know why he’s leaving, but we have to remember that there’s more to life than just football and that has to also be accepted. From now until the end of the season, appreciate Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool regardless of whether they win draw or lose.

Jurgen Klopp turned Liverpool from a decent team to one of the best teams in the world in a span of 9 years. Prior to his arrival at Liverpool, apart from the 2013/14 season where they almost won the Premier League title, they were average and mediocre and they became a top European club again under his management. His notable achievements there are winning the Premier League for the first time in 3 decades and Champions League for the first time since 2005, and did a domestic double winning the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in 2022 and were 2 games away from a quadruple and this season they’re back on top of the league and are in the hunt to win 4 trophies. Despite not having the same level of financial backing as other top clubs, Liverpool were the only team truly competing with Manchester City for the premier league title and they’re the only reasons as to why they don’t have 6 league titles in 6 years. They missed out narrowly by a point in 2019 and 2022, they came close on a few occasions and without Manchester City’s premier league dominance and Real Madrid beating them in 2 different UCL finals in 2018 and 2022 they would’ve won a lot more trophies under him. His success at Liverpool has been down to smart recruitment player development and their resilience as he installed this attitude of them being able to win games in so many different ways as under him they became a difficult team to play against. What makes Jurgen Klopp special as a manager is that he was the last manager to win the Bundesliga over Bayern Munich and the premier league over Manchester City. With Borussia Dortmund he won the Bundesliga in 2012 and that was the last time that Bayern Munich lost the Bundesliga since then they’ve gone on to win 11 consecutive league titles and have dominated the league for a decade and in 2020 with Liverpool he won the premier league title and since then Manchester City have won 3 straight league titles. Just imagine if he was managing clubs with unlimited finances and more financial backing, the fact that he managed to rebuild the likes of Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund while being on the fraction of a budget it tells you how great of a manager he is. Even though he’s had some heartbreaks in major finals, he’s one of the best managers in the history of the game.

"Bashing away at it day after day" that's pretty much what he said in the full interview. He said he's been at it for 24+ years as a player and then a coach and he's not had time to stop and smell the roses as it were. He wants to experience life and see things and do things that he's missed while being involved with football year after year. That's the gist of part of the interview he gave.

Frank... Liverpool are NOT utd or arsenal - after Shanks (Legend) there was Bob (Legend - still most successful Reds manager), after Bob there was Fagan (Legend who won the first english treble in his only season), after Fagan there was King Kenny (Legend who kept the success going but had his soul and desire crushed after Hillsborough) - this Liverpool is akin to that Liverpool, and not what we saw through the 90's until 2015. Stevie might be a laugh a minute, but he’s 100% correct… If Liverpool get this wrong, it could set them back 10 years… Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal… It’s pretty easy to move from title contenders to mid table obscurity…

Not a Liverpool fan, but when the news websites all and only had breaking news, Klopp to leave, I assumed he was leaving with immediate effect because of a personal family issue (illness etc) and I was happy to see it is at the end of the season and not due to his family.

Liverpool top of the league & klopp announced his retirement at the end of season..on the positive note Liverpool players will be going all out to win the league not just for the supporters but for klopp too.. strange situations indeed but life must go on..

He's unique and is the only guy who's the perfect package. People love him and he's genuine. Jurgen really is unreplaceable. The Premier League will miss him too, he is box office. Amazing leader and human being. We love you Jurgen and thank you for everything. Thanks you for putting the reds back on their perch. The club will go on and its a way healthier position now so there's no excuses for any new manager. Respect to Jurgen Klopp for acknowledging he cant go again next season with the same zeal and thats unfair to the club the fans and himself and you can only admire his honesty nor can you begrudge him anything and what he,s done for this club. He said he thought about pre season next season and thought for the first time " i might not be here " so it was then he realised he couldnt gp again... Fans would sell their granny for him so can you imagine being one of his players ? They love him and we still got the best chapter to write. YNWA

Initially I was all in on Alonso but Stevie's right he lacks that experience and character at this point. De zerbi would be an interesting one. He plays good football, he's charismatic and he has that eccentricity that Klopp has. That said, you'd like someone who has won and if Alonso manages that in Germany, that's enormous

As a Liverpool fan, the best day was when Klopp signed for Liverpool. He took a team of mediocre players to an european final. Rebuilt the team bit by bit with his limited resources. He is also the manager that set the blueprint for the growth of Academy players alongside Senior players. Built new high tech training ground by sacrificing his transfer budget. Brought in sport nutritionist and revamping routines from diet to training. Being laughed at for bringing in a throw in specialist. And winning every major trophy possible in his 9 year tenure. Closest rival to one of the worlds best team with unlimited funds. Thank you Jürgen for laying the foundation and the sweet memories

Klopp was frustrated after the Spurs game at the beginning of the season, his frustration about the referee’s impact, he will have won the Premiership more than once for Liverpool been rubbed by referee poor decision, add to that the club is not backing him as he wants. This takes its toll on anyone. Good luck to him.
