You have to keep the other 3 in there, white, saliba and Gabriel. So his only choice is to play timber left back

Timber basically has the best of Kiwior and Zinchenko. Zinchenko’s vision and passing. Kiwior’s physicality and fearlessness. With his own added ability to dribble and take on players too.

Nearing ready. Sure he still feel a little discomfort on that leg. Next season will be bang with Timber on that defence line. No need to rush him. The season is already over. Hopefully we win the league with him on the sideline

He's rusty. Partey wasn't as press-resistant as before his long injury due to his lack of match-fitness, so it'd be very risky to play Timber in a such crucial stage in EPL

Should start ahead of tomiyasu who looked a bit shaky and slow against Tottenham. Also, Trossard looks tired and needs to be dropped for Martinelli.

Martinelli unfortunatly has lost form. Maybe he needs a solid left back behind him to work in partnership . Martinelli will be on the fringes of the first team next year. Hopefully he can assist arsenal winning the Double and SF UCL.

@psalm5187 this is the issue. marinelli does not have a natural lb playing with him. he gets ZERO overlaps to help him unlike saka.

@@psalm5187 Martinelli ought to start if Zinchenko is also starting. If its Kiwior or Tomiyasu, Trossard is a better fit due to his ability to be more involved in buildup/ball recycling. Martinelli has also had injuries ruin his season, preventing him from gathering any kind of momentum.

@@falayyou you’re seeing Martinelli’s amazing recoveries when he gets beat on the counterpress. Trossard has been a world class presser for a few years now.
