I think Arsenal's interest in Moises Caicedo ended the moment they knew they were going to land Jurrien Timber. His ability to operate efficiently in midfield despite being a CB/RB is a wonderful blend of versatility.

Ajax fan here - we had a miserable season but despite that this guy was always showing up every week when others wouldn’t. Also trust me when I tell you he’s better than Lisandro (despite them both being very good! 😄). There’s no doubt in my mind he’ll be a success for you guys 👊

arteta is my manager. look at the team from when he acquired to what he is assembling. some people do talk about his lack of trophies but i dont care i have been in distress for so long. all i wanna see is the desire to win. win or lose comes after. after such a long time our club looks stable with fans happy, the players happy, the club academy as well as women team seems to be interested in whats happening at arsenal. i hope they become a force in europe but i think they would still need another window for that. but i am surely very excited for this.

Finally we got our own Dutch master. We were always blessed with brilliant Dutch players Bergkamp overmars van persie and hope timber can win us something this season. Excellent defending dribbling skills

Our difense is set and good to go. When we are inverting on the right with timber we need a natural left back (tierney). When we are inverting at left back (zinchenko) we need not to invert at right back (white/tomiyasu). Although white and tomi can play inverted as well

Great video as always GTV! We have bought some player here. Watch him rampaging forward. Then watch Rice doing the same - those two will create serious problems. Timber can play CB RB DM or even BTB to a very high standard. But I feel sorry for whoever Timber replaces because they will have a serious problem getting their place back. Another young, quality addition to what is becoming an awe-inspiring squad.

Interesting. Timber actually allows Tierney to stay at the club and play the way he likes to and does so well. So instead of zinchenko inverted and white overlap the rotation would be Tierney overlapping and Timber inverting

Looks great technically and with decision making but his balance and center of gravity seem a bit lightweight for the physicality of the premier league. He may need to bulk up a bit but hopefully he'll hit the ground running!
