The trial of a man who shot a KZfaq prankster finished in Loudoun County this week. A jury found Alan Colie not guilty of the most serious charges. Colie’s attorneys say he felt threatened for his safety. The KZfaqr’s dad disagrees with the verdict. FOX 5’s David Kaplan has the story.

little pukes xD i'm gonna steal this one from you, well said. however pressing harassment charges won't really help. you can put them in jail for 1-2 years, but it wont' help .. cuz they won't learn anything. in their eyes, YOU ARE WRONG and they are right. what you need to do in order to make them understand, is pull similar "pranks" on themselves. for example next time one of those pranksters orders food, put dog poop inside their food, hide it well and make sure they really bite into it. once they take a bite and most likely spit it out, then walk up to them with camera and go like "AHAHAHAHHA ITS A PRANK!!!" or walk up to them pee on their feet, then say "AHAHAHAH ITS A PRANK!!!" only then, they'd understand that their "harmless pranks" are not as harmless as they make it sound. they are doing this, because they are too dumb to understand how their "pranks" have negative effect on others. to them it's just a joke and they don't understand why someone would get mad over it.

The thing is those shows tend to have a lot of people who are thinking about how the prank will play out, the kind of reactions people will make, and just when to back off. Even though it might seem like common sense, it's kind of hard to know how far people are willing to go or just how little they aren't. So with that said, I'm sure whatever the prank was in his head he probably had it all played out and thought it was going to be so funny and everyone would be laughing and whatnot. 3-4 large males following him with one in his face and refusing to move back @@SkitzoFPV Their behavior was threatening. The one with the phone could be charged with assault in most states. A reasonable person would assume that they were in some danger. A week earlier he had made a joke out of stalking a woman in a Target.

Shooting someone over an audio recording? Yeah buddy, you pro gunners are delusional. This was not self defense. There's a difference between using guns when they are actually neccessary, and using them on annoying tiktokers.

The jury doesn't agree with you. The issue isn't the audio, but rather 3-4 males being aggressive and refusing to backoff or step away. They were in his face and refuses to give him space. Truthfully it shouldn't have to be someone considerably larger than you. In regular street fights the person who throws the first punch wins 9 out of 10 times. And there's plenty of examples of people randomly attacking significantly larger people, and causing life long physical trauma or even death.

The KZfaqr was clearly taller and not listening to the victim. Is the father of the KZfaqr the one to decide how the victim feels? No.

As someone who grew up in a rough neighborhood, the “pranksters” behavior would raise a red flag in my book immediately. I’ve seen it countless times, the thugs will surround the victim and a lot of times seem like they are joking or being friendly before someone in the group sucker punches the victim and they steal all of his things.

The kid's dad should be charged with raising a terrible child and enabling his bullying behavior. KZfaq needs to shut down his channel or they should face civil liability for allowing this kid to profit from threatening and intimidating strangers.

I think the "prank" is stupid and not funny at all...but do you actually believe that a vulgar message justifies someone taking out his gun and shooting the person? It's very extreme. The shooter should've been found guilty, that is not socially acceptable behavior...as for the "pranked", yes, there should have been some type of charge against him.

@@KolorfulDreamsArtKda We have the advantage of hind sight. As far as the driver knew this was them working up to rob him or worse. The driver asked multiple times to get away from him. The shooter was found what he should have been. Not guilty. He did not start this. He tried to move away and they kept pushing into him. At the moment of the shot he had two strangers crowding him and playing a creepy audio clip making lewd accusations.
