Thanks for watching, I folded the two yards of fabric into two, then into 4, the side with an open side will be used to cut the centre front and back while the closed side would be used to cut the four side, try and rewatch the video. A detailed cutting and stitching tutorial of this skirt would be on the channel next week

Well done. It makes sense. But it seems this can only be achieved with fabric that has longer length say by 60 or 90 and also have the same pattern both at the top and at the down right? Or can it work for Ankara fabric of length 45 or less sometimes Of it is

It can be achieved using Ankara fabric, in fact, the one am working on now is an ankara fabric or even lace but the pattern on the fabric should be the same at both edge.

The centre front is 8", the centre back is 8", 8+8=16, so to get the sides, hip 44-16 =28, 28/4=7" for the side panel before adding the sewing allowance, a more detailed video on the cutting and sewing will be available on the channel next week! Turn on the notification bell
