China has invested significantly in constructing a modern town on the Sino-Indian border, just 70 km away from India, in a previously uninhabited area known as Hongliu Beach. This construction, which took 20 years and hundreds of billions, transformed the region, serving both strategic and infrastructural importance. Situated in the Shiquan River Valley, near a disputed territory, it offers a barrier between China and India and enhances border security. With improved transport links from developing local highways, the town's strategic relevance increased, emphasizing its importance in securing national territory sovereignty.
