I recorded this in my home studio in Spain, while in semi quarantine, On May 30, 2020. One of my favorite Gospel songs. Lately I've been doing live music videos for the Unity Church, Gulf Shores and Orange Beach Alabama for their online broadcasts, where I was their music director for the last 3 years. I'm 68 years old and have a long history of Blues, Gospel and Jazz. in Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, California, British Columbia and much of Europe.
I wanted to send this to all of the souls we have lost during the coronavirus, and to honor the memory of the peacemakers and all those who have died, because of racial injustice in America. I grew up in Louisiana, where I learned the music of New Orleans, and it's amazing musical influence on the World. In African American Culture, This song is frequently performed in a very slow second line parade, in New Orleans style, with a brass band playing it as the mourners march to the cemetery with the body of their loved one. May they all rest in Power, in Peace, and in Justice, that their deaths will not have been in vain.

I recently had some health challenges this past year. Here’s a way you can support my music to continue my work in the performing and recording arts
