I learned an important safety tip today. If you're taller than your weld area a ball cap works fine but if you're shorter than your weld a full face shield is the way to go.

Hey Mike should you install gusset plates to help strengthen those welds, probably set the gusset plates on a slight angle to keep dirt from building up on the gusset plates which will cause rust issues, you guys did an awesome job engineering that plow & putting it together, and seeing how well it put pipe in the ground, I sooo enjoy your videos, keep them coming thanks Mike

Hey Guys, I'm not an engineer but give some thought to a bottom plate added to where you just welded it back together WITH the gussets these guys mentioned. It's obvious the base needs a lot more strength.

Thanks Mike, seeing the three um Amigo's working together was great fun! You did a great job designing and fabricating your in cab equipment shelf. There is likely to be some vibration noise in the cab but you can mitigate that by using some 3/8s rubber automotive hose, slice it length wise so it slides over the contact point of the stand and the dozer. I sure appreciate the time and effort you put into your videos. Thanks from Canada

Idea for marking the chain, on big ships the anchor chain is painted different colors at strategic points (1ft, 2 ft, etc). All you have to do is see which color is touching ground to know where you are. Blast one link every ??? easy peasy.

Instead of using velcro on the joystick... Step 1.) unscrew the bottom plate of the joystick. Step 2.) check for clearance issues to install 2 or 3 small bolts*. (I'm thinking a #6-32 nut and bolt combo sold in most stores). Step 3.) drill 2 - 3 small holes in the joystick plate and metal plate, so that they line up. Step 4.) insert 2 - 3 small bolts pointing downwards in the joystick plate. Step 5.) reattach the bottom joystick plate with the screws you removed in step 1. Step 6.) run the bolts through your plate with holes and tighten down with nuts, washers, and split washers. *(Note - machine screws, bolts, etc.. Also- use stainless if used in a wet area.)

Good to see the crew back together again… even if only a fleeting glance at the Cap’n! With the official guarantee of MBTS warranty work… I think you can safely say, “That ain’t goin’ anywhere!” I liked your controller module. It’ll be so much easier to setup, use and take down! Just one question… “How come you didn’t test its fit with the extinguisher in the comment generator?” LOL Fortunately, you were able to take advantage of Mr Millenial’s BS of Velcrology from Hook & Loop University. Without that, you’d needed to issue a Public Service Announcement when your PSA failed! Everyone needs someone who has BS to help, every now and again!! Thanx Mikey, for the giggles.

For Matts measurement idea on the back if the ripper, you could always paint the 1 foot block between the 2&3 and the 4&5 a different colour. Either black so its not too obvious or go full HiVis yellow/Orange so that way you know the bit where the 2 colours meet is the foot marker. The paint seems to be holding up well on the back of the ripper so it should stay good for a while.

Looks good and user friendly. The nice thing about paint is not only does it look good, it's also easier to spot cracks. Nothing is indestructible, sooner or later things will break. Thats life. Could you use the chain as a "measuring tape" when the paint lines wear off? Keep smilin.
