I became a grandma at 38 years old!! My daughter was 20. I have 3 grandbabies and they call me "Meme" it's the best Anne. And talking about patience, I wish idda had more patience with my daughter when she was growing up, like I do now with my grandkids. They love coming to memes house too Anne. I will tell you who blows me away with the hard parenting... My sister adopted as a single parent. I love my knee so much I don't have the right words. I also have no idea how she does it. I do know she has a community built around her and our folks are with her for half the year..,.. So we got really really lucky and having a family that works to be not only family but friends.

I couldn't do retail work either Anne. My mouth would get me in trouble having to deal with assholes. 22:16 😊

There is a fine line between good work ethic and unhealthy work ethic. Due to mental health I would not call off for anything and ended up missing out on several family events and unfortunately some of those family members have passed now. The job will be there but you have to make time for family and yourself too
