Sounds great. I like the savox sc0253. Through hull is fine but will have a little less room when getting at the coupler to remove the shafts.

Carbon is stronger and lighter but if you reinforce a fiber version it could be stronger then the carbon one, if you reinforce a carbon version then it would be even stronger yet. The nice part about carbon is no paint or clear coat to mess up also it looks killer. The downside is radio reception, must run antennae out side of boat, also gps don't work in a carbon hull, that's why I run a white fiberglass hatch on my carbon cheetah. So if you plan on gps speed runs then also order a fiberglass hatch for it or you can mount the gps on the exterior.

Speed is all in the set up. If you mean the 4092 motors then I'm not sure if they would be any faster but the acceleration would be better vs 3674 motor also less runtime.

I run stock outward rotation, not sure if its better its just what I do.

I depends on what you plan on doing with it but certainly won't hurt. The zee are very popular right now but personally I've never used them, I prefer the turnigy graphene series over most others. You just gotta make sure the fit, 7000mah may or may not fit, most 5000mah fit some 6000mah also fit, also keep in mind that the carbon version has less room for batteries because the hatch lip is wider then the fiberglass version, however the lip can be modified or clereanced.
