Dude. The last time I ate subway I ended up with food poisoning. I was literally on the toilet, shitting my brains out when I called them the next morning. I was angry I got food poisoning, but I didn’t reveal it during the phone call. Things happen, I get it. I told them what I ordered and said you might want to rotate the food batches. This lady had the fucking audacity to tell me “well, if you’re looking for a refund I can’t help you since you ate the whole sub.” I went off. So yeah, fuck subway lol

No olive oil on sandwiches,usually we get a long wood oven baked bread roll & pull out the middle then line the inside of it with prosciutto & maybe some thin slices of provolone & on rare occasions pickled eggplant or zucchini or capsicum,no tomato or boconcini that's for pizza or bruscetta. The olive oil abundance is reserved for a summer tomato salad,with onion,fresh basil,cucumber & dried oregano so you can dip your bread in the oil & tomato juices.

Here in the north-east of Spain, in every sandwitch the bread touches the layer of olive oil, tomato and salt. In Catalonia the spicyness of the pepper is substituted by scratching raw garlic on the bread. And in the Balearic Islands it's substituted with sea fennel pickles. All sandwitches are better with thatseasoned tomato layer!

@@cristopherchouinard8414 Some people have the gene. To us, it tastes like pus mixed with soap and sprinkled with a tiny bit of iron filings. Awful and very overpowering taste. Throw in a few leaves of it in a bowl filled with a whole head of normal lettuce before chopping, chop evenly and mix... and it will ruin the whole thing. It's that potent.

Quick recap - Olive oil, pesto, salami, ham, pepperoni, prosciutto, fresh mozz, charred/peeled red bell, heirloom (i think) tomato, salt&pep, pepperoncini, red onion, arugula dressed w oil/red vinegar and herbs. That's a lot of stuff!!

Its crazy this is almost the exact sandwhich i make for myself on the daily, just without the pepper, and i usually do roasted cherry tomatos split in half, with fresh baby spinach. I think its just funny how similar it is, i had no idea other people made the same thing
