This makes me cry. Soooo many deaths in this group. So many of them died so young. It truly breaks my heart. 😢

I remember the Gospel Soul Children of New Orleans so well; to me they were legends and to me they were famous! The Navy they would fly the Hospel's Soul Children into Nas Pensacola to perform at the base chapel. I remember well how the Director Mr. Albert Hadley would bring up the back of the line as the Gospel Soul Children would marched into the bes chapel in their red robes. AWESOME singers such Pam (gone wayyyyyyyy to soon) Evelyn. Mark. Norman, and so many others along with their PHENOMENAL Musicians team, were simply phenomenal!!!!!!! In my opinion choirs like this simply are SOOOOOOOOOOOO Needed to give young people the Word-of-God through song, direction, exposure & BLACK HISTORY, MUSIC & CULTURE. Here in Pensacola, the community choir I grew-up, where we would fellowship with the Soul Children, we song almost ALL of their music, including their famous rendition of "GENESIS" ALTHOUGH I still teach & model the legendary Gospel Soul Children of New Orleans & CONTINUE to study the gospel music techniques of Albert Hadley, this group of young people from New Orleans were "2nd-to-NONE". 2day in 2921, I STILL TALK about the GOSPEL SOUL CHILDREN OF NEW ORLEANS & technology their music. The Soul Children simokr SET THE STANDARD! I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad I had MANY opportunities to see them, hear them & fellowship with the late Mr. Albert Hadley and the Gospel Soul Children of New Orleans.
