quick tutorial on how I beat Isshin last boss. Just block and mikiri counter. enjoy.

Well said. My fave genre of videogames are ninja/samurai theme. Started with tenchu1. As u tell on my channel, i had uploaded vids from tenchu 3 (when KZfaq was still a baby!) Lol anyway. Playing this game brought back the happiness of my early years playing videogames :)

tbh it was enjoyable and refreshing to see someone not deflecting the blows like everyone else does but adapt a different strategy

isshin is one of the only enjoyable fights in the game to play without a strategy, lets be real owl is harder than isshin

Isshin is a biznatch. Hes still king of all bosses for me, learning curve is a lot. In comparison, Updated Father owl is proly 2nd hardest in sekiro. About the same hardness as malenia in elden ring. And about the same hardness as updated S Ranking Walter in AC6.

Just use double ichimonji it's enough for genichiro and he's so easy. But when isshin comes 😑

tru that lol! I dont know, its just me cuz I like to see health bar damage, it feels like its takes forever for posture damage only. lol but yes, double ichi, high monk or basically just normal hit would finish this guy. like I said i chose this since it deals a lot of damage without any stat boosting item and also deals damage when he blocks the attack

fo reals? man ur a beast!!! it took me a while to beat owl father(the 2nd time you fight him) especially after the update.

Lighten counter.. just jump and spam R1 r1 ... No need to block . I'm still tryna beat him ... I don't wanna cheese him. I like playing Aggro against him . I enjoy the fight even if I get killed . I have perfected my deflection Just need to mix it up with my attack

He is my all time fave souls borne game Boss. its like the final exam to test ur knowledge. with plenty of cursing and practice, you will get this! if u can master the lightning deflect, this is basically a 3 phase battle, good luck!

I guess all the boss and enemy in sekiro have the same pattern where they will attack you when they can block ur attack 2time in a row

Didnt have time to practice it lol. It was so draining just to get to phase 3 but yeah I aint that “gud” so i just did it without ( i think i lucked out by doing one lightning counter)

1st phase isshin can be cheesed by getting him stuck on the bridge and you standing on the opposite side of the railing next to the cliff, just spam Mortal Blade, 2nd and 3rd are a BITCH tho

hell yeah! thanks for the update up until now! I just beat AC6, Isshin is still by far the hardest boss off all time.

@@fucha yeah man, I remember when Elden Ring dropped and they all said Melania is the hardest...not even CLOSE to Isshin, I can slap Melania easily but Isshin still cooks me. I kinda wish we could watch them battle in a mod or something.

@@itstk8828 haha for real tho, the learning curve for melania is somewhat hard but doable. Id compare it to father owl (basement). but other than that, man. This is still the hardest and the best boss battle, ever.

There should be dismemberment in Sekiro 2 where you can chop off certain body parts like the Afro samurai Mechanics…. Gennichoro cutting our arm off so we should chop off his wiener. 😂

Surprisingly first run ishiin was kinda easy when u know how to fight him, fight, with patience and concentration…new game +, he hit s so damn hard, I hang there for days now,; even with strengh level 30 it’s the same, 2 phase ( not genichiro incl) is so wild, 3 goes fast when you’re into it, just Counter the electric attacks

It does add a bit of power damage. But i died so much i stopped using it. Save them for the runs that u feel comfortable beating him. Good luck!!

dude DEFLECT don't just hold ur sowrd defending, try to deflect his attack you'll be able to vuild posture on him and this 'll allow you to deafeat/ beat ur enemies without waiting to finish his health bar the game is all about Barry and deflection timing

If you're at this point in the game and you can't defeat genichiro without cheesing you didn't learn anything about the games mechanics, he is pretty weak at that point you can just deflect everything and kill him within a min, the isshin part wasn't bad tho

well said. it basically just learning the pattern pretty much. I disagree what u said on the second part. this is not a cheese strategy, as you saw I was struggling (got killed even). There are other easy way to cheese him. This is the strategy I came up on my own. I thought it was simple enough to follow for those who were struggling, and so I went ahead and shared it with everyone.

Dude. You need some work on your words. ''Do this and that. Mikiri, block.'' No man. You gotta break down the movesets of the opponent step by step. Take note on the other youtubers before putting this out. I know its harder when doing it on the fly while your playing. So play the game and voice over it. You missed so many opportunities of what the opponent is doing to explain why you jumped or moved out of the way and countered. Also his patterns. You dont explain that only on the first stage of the fight.

this are only tips, its up to u to put in the work. He is the hardest boss in the entire souls/borne game and super unpredictable. im not a pro like other youtubers, Just an average gamer tryna beat a game.

@@fuchaIts not about being a pro. You could still make a breakdown of what you know no matter the unpredictablility. He has still movesets that are the same no matter the order. You can still go off by that.

@@vagabond4576 he did a breakdown of what he knows - one attack he can mikiri, and one he can roll and hit afterwards. Everything else is chaos to run away from. It is kind of impressive, like passing an exam by learning the absolute bare minimum and nothing else. There are no rules other than winning your battles, I guess.
