I love how Ben just says frankly thathes better than half of the GMs, discarding he's usual false modesty of "I'm terrible, I play this bad opening and lose". Don't understand how people think he's arrogant or whatever, if this is basically the only time where he seriously talks about he's skill.

According to Google Gregory Young won U.S. Junior Championship in 2011, Marc Arnold won in 2012. This is “about 10 years ago.” The World Junior champions were Polish and Russian, seems less likely that they would have been reading his article.

Yeah kids are like the deep learning artificial intelligence computers. Especially now that bullet chess is a thing, kids are playing thousands of games getting a very you know... spherical and well rounded "taste" of many openings and traps, so one of those kids will definitely brake 2900 one day. I know that Magnus wants to do that but ok that won't happen we all know that.
