the cylinder mower does make a difference - the dividing line between dark and light stripes is far more crisp (as well as the grass looking darker/lighter too). For a 1 month turnaround, that extremely impressive if you compare what it was like before and after.

He also used iron sulphate the previous day but yea the allett stripes are so much better it's just the weight of the thing really it's a beast 😆

@@alaskanmalamute101 I think Dans Hayter Pro is slightly heavier than his Allett Sterling, so while weight helps its the scissor cut of the allett that gives the more crisp lines

One of my favourites ever. The one video showing the progress in such short time and the finished product being amazing. Much required ‘ooohh yeaaaa’ for this one as while BBL is the ultimate, that’s had a lot more time in that, this was smash and grab and still looks like a (in the words of Alan partridge) ‘a 40 year old scorcher!’

I landscaped my yard to have no grass. I have lots of interlock patio with several multi level raised flower beds made of retaining pavers and 3 Koi ponds one with a waterfall two large pergolas with furniture. I cant begin to explain the difference in sitting out in my yard now as opposed to having to be the guy with the perfect lawn ( which I was ) . I have turned my living space into a mind blowing oasis. The mental and spiritual benefits of my new yard outweigh any satisfaction a lawn could have possibly brought me I wish I had done it 30 years ago. If I consider the accumulated money I have spent on my lawn over the last three decades I easily spent as much on grass as I did on this conversion.

This really does look very good. I am sorry about the glass. We had this problem on our local football pitch, caused chaos. Do you have a video on different cuts? Just wondered if you have a customer who would let you demonstrate some of the different finishes we see on football pitches, in miniature of course?

Dan, just wanted to say "Thank-you" for the fork idea to remove individual weed grasses. I scarified and seeded Kentucky Bluegrass in May, and by the end of June have had a thousand or so crabgrass plants to remove. Must have disturbed some old seeds, since I haven't had crabgrass for about 12 years... The turf looks awesome, and I found the best method to remove these young plants was your Fork idea. I have cleared just about all of 500ft² with about 50ft² remaining. We can't use the herbicides here either... That tip made much shorter and less physically painful work of it... Thank-you !!

Amazing result even during the heat that we have had 👏👏 however,if you have multiple patches of weed grasses can you simply scarify and overseed or do I need to remove all traces of weed grasses prior. Can you name the supplier so we don’t have the same or is that a potential law suit? Keep the vids coming Dan and I will keep watching for sure👍

Hiya Dan. Watch all your videos. Just a quick one. I've just had a new patio laid. What's the safest feed/ fertiliser I can put on that won't ruin or stain the flags. I know it's iron that does it. And as much as you sweep blow it off. Bits still get left on. Is there a path safe product. TIA.

I'm about to start my renovation. I have a law I sowed from seed about 6 years back on what I think is nitrogen deficient soil. Where my dog pees I've got patches about a foot diameter of really well growing grass, this grows at least twice as fast as the rest of the lawn. Should I kill these patches off with weedkiller before starting a full scarify, seed and topdress? Thanks :)

Daniel hi. I’m not sure if this is the best way to make contact but I’m wondering if you can help please. Ants are destroying my lawn! As fast as I’m brushing away the soil mounds they’re coming up elsewhere. Where I’ve brushed the grass dies and weeds grow. And there’s little mounds that just get bigger. Any thoughts? Steve
