@@Dave-ls8ye I have ADHD and forget my keys constantly, and this is just asking for trouble. The point of a key is it's removable. Having it constantly in the lock and connected to your phone means, like any electronic lock, someone with right means need only input the same signal, and they're in your house. That's all avoided if you keep the money, and put your keys the same place everyday. And as the caption says, just another thing to forget to charge, so if you are forgetful and don't remember to charge it (which was what the product is supposed to help with), you have to fumble with the lock, get it off, and use the keys as normal, wasting your time and energy when you're late for work. So, as I said, a technological solution for a problem that does not exist.

People are forgetting that it’s most likely meant to be installed on doors where the locks are inside the house, as shown by the short. However, they can still be hacked…

All these posts talking about how stupid this is because anyone could break it and use the key, or any version of break it... It's mounted INSIDE the door, not outside. So technically, sure, break open the door, then break open the key robot to get the fucking key,but that's not an Ocean's Eleven-level plan

Yes because that's secure. If you have one pass on they open the door take off the cover and copy your key or just take it.
